Conservatives Are Communists

Conservatives are usually busy calling everyone else Communists.   But their view is based on a basic misunderstanding of what Communism really is.   Their view is based on the goal stated by Karl Marx -- "from each according to his means, to each according to his needs".   That means the equal sharing of goods and services for all.   Of course, Conservatives don't believe in that.   But, then again, neither do Communists.   To Communists, that phrase is mere fantasy and propaganda which has never been put into practice.

In fact, Communist systems actually work in the exact opposite way.  When I visited the Soviet Union 20 years ago, I was told:  "Here, all the people are sheep, and there is only one shepherd."  That was a perfect description of the system.  All the goods, services and bounty of the Soviet Union went to the few party leaders at the top, who controlled everything, while the vast majority of the population had nothing.   Brezhnev owned a fleet of the most expensive luxury cars from around the world, while most Soviet citizens could not afford an automobile.

That was the Soviet system, and the totally lop-sided, unfair distribution of the nation's wealth ultimately caused the downfall of Soviet Communism.   It was not a few speeches by Ronald Reagan -- but rather the inner rot of the Soviet system that caused Communism's downfall.

Today, the Conservative right-wing is hell-bent on bringing the same destruction to the United States.   Conservatives and Communist leaders share one thing in common -- unbridled, rapacious greed.   In their basic core structuring of the economy and the distribution of the nation's wealth, Conservatives are Communists -- for convenience, they may be called "Connie-Commies". "Connie-Commies" who are performing a "kamukazi" attack on our nation from within.

Since George W. Bush and the Conservative right-wing took over this country in 2001, they have shaped all the tax laws and economic laws to favor the wealthiest few and to disadvantage the vast majority of Americans.   Very short-sighted of them.  They are killing the Golden Goose.

Continuing the poultry image, and in the words of America's most popular pastor of 2008 -- the chickens are coming home to roost.  The collapse of the sub-prime mortgage market, the demise of Bear Stearns, the huge and growing number of home foreclosures, the multi-trillion dollar national debt, the decline of the stock market, the growing number of homeless veterans and of Americans without health insurance, etc.

So many of these problems were caused by Republicans' easing of government regulation on the banking and investment industries and on housing and mortgage financiers.   Rapacious greed took over, and there was a lack of restraint on bad lending practices.

But, as far as the Right-Wing is concerned, they are quite content if the Rich Grow Richer and the Poor Go Bankrupt.   To paraphrase The Three Musketeers -- the economic motto of the Right-Wing should be All For One and None For all.   They believe in government of the few, by the few, and for the few.   Just like the Soviet Communists.

And, to maintain this squeeze on Americans, they have created the most vicious form of right-wing media ever on radio and television.   The goal of these media blowhards is to brainwash Americans into voting for politicians and policies which are totally against the economic interests of most Americans, and to smear and destroy any political leaders who try to stand up against the right-wing's assault on this country.   It's a right-wing coup d'etat with a multi-million dollar propaganda machine.

The purpose of this new blog -- Conservatives Are Communists -- is to provide a forum where people can tell the truth, to respond to daily right-wing falsehoods, and to strike back at the policies and deceptions which have brought our great country down so low in eight short years.

George W. Bush has sent this country spiraling downward in a path of national self-destruction over the past eight years.   We can't let him and his right-wing buddies finish the job.   Now is the time for all of us to take a stand, tell the truth, and Let America be America Again.
