Obama and Arab Money

Mark, in 2004, a Right-Wing Talk Show host informed me that Yasser
Arafat had endorsed John Kerry.

This is the kind of bullshit Republicans peddle about Democratic
candidates, and they do it all the time.

It's a load of crap.

This week, Bill O'Reilly had the first intelligent program I've ever
seen him do, in all my years of trying to watch him. This time, for
once, he abandoned all the Republican drivel about William Ayres,
Jeremiah Wright and the usual Fox News Broken-Record Garbage.

O'Reilly focused on who were the real sources of Obama's support and,
for once, O'Reilly told the truth. He mentioned Penny Pritzker (the Hyatt Hotel heiress) and a number of other extremely wealthy Chicago Jewish women. Penny is Obama's finance manager and the other ladies have contributed and raised multi-millions for him.

These Jewish ladies are not only Obama's most fervent and most
financially powerful supporters. They are all also extremely ardent
Zionists. Obama states that, when he first went seeking political
support from black churches in Chicago (competing against other black
candidates), one of the strongest objections voiced against him by
some of his black rivals was that he had too much support from the
Jewish community. He still has the full support of Chicago's Jewish
community, now more than ever.

You can be sure that none of these women would support a candidate who was not totally and fully committed to the survival and prosperity of Israel. The Jewish community of Chicago would not be so solidly behind Obama if there was even the slightest doubt about his commitment to Israel.

Considering that Bush took everyone's eye off the ball when he invaded
Iraq, and allowed Bin Laden to escape and Al Quaida to regroup and
grow stronger than ever in Afghanistan in Pakistan, I am confident
that Obama will do a much better job of securing and defending Israel.
He will go after Al Quadia and the Taliban where they really are
until they are destroyed.

I'm sure Obama's strategy for confronting Iran will be better, too.
For one thing, Obama will do a much better job of rallying allies to
our side than Bush ever tried to do.

Anyway, whatever Maureen Dowd may have written in June, I am not
concerned about Obama's commitment to Israel. And, if you are
concerned about Arab money in US elections, then no American has ever received more Arab money than George Bush has. The connection between "The House of Saud and The House of Bush" is immense. I've also read that the Bin Laden family has given lots of money to the Bush Family -- which may be one reason why young Osama was allowed to escape and to remain at large all these years.
