Why is it that when votes get counted (Minnesota 2008), Democrats win; and when they stop counting votes (Florida 2000), Republicans win? Republicans do well when the winner is appointed, not elected by the people, as when Bush was appointed president in 2000 by a 5 to 4 vote.

Obama should have invited his long-time pastor, Jeremiah Wright, to give the invocation. As we can now clearly see, Reverend Wright is a lot less controversial than Rick Warren. And, Reverend Wright is neither Christ-ophobic nor homophobic.

What was the worst U. S. Supreme Court decision in history? Bush v. Gore was far worse than the Dred Scott decision. Dred Scott simply put black people into slavery. Bush v. Gore put all Americans into slavery.

Rush Limbaugh should be sent to Guantanamo and water-boarded as a traitor and a terrorist. Limbaugh has done more damage to America than all the Guantanamo detainees put together. Whitewater-Gate

The word we need to use is "Whitewater-Gate". Any time the media invents a phony scandal of its own creation, to try to ensnare a Democratic president falsely, that dishonest media feeding frenzy should be called "Whitewater-Gate". We can quote their own iconic idol, Saint Ronald Reagan: "There you go again, media -- you're engaging in a brand new Whitewater-Gate".

Obama will come out of this Blago scandal more of a SuperHero than ever. We now learn that the Daley machine supported Obama for the Senate because Obama was too honest, too much of a straight-shooter, not really part of the Daley machine, and they wanted to get him out of Illinois. This is the equivalent of Tammany Hall backing Teddy Roosevelt for the Vice Presidency, on the McKinley ticket, to get "that cowboy" out of New York. It's the equivalent of Harry Truman emerging from Missouri's Pendergast machine. Once every 50 years an honest politician steps out of the shadow of a local political machine to achieve national greatness. Obama is the embodiment of that phenomenon today. Remember, it was Obama who sponsored and authored the new Illinois Code of Ethics, which takes effect January 1, 2009, designed to thwart the kind of Pay For Play politics that Governor Blago personifies. The mere fact that Patrick Fitzgerald has announced that Obama had no involvement in Blago's corrupt practices won't silence the Right-Wing Talking Heads. However, when you are listening to these Talking Heads, keep in mind that you are really listening to Talking Asses.

Christianity, Marijuana and Prostitution

Our nation could be vastly improved by legalizing marijuana, legalizing prostitution, and outlawing Christianity. What a better country this would be for everyone to live in with those three modest changes.

Don't Let Them Get Away With It

Conservatives spent 8 years trying to destroy the Clinton Administration, from the opening gun of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell', through the contrived Whitewater and Travelgate "scandals", through the Monica Lewinsky saga, through the phony impeachment, etc.

They spent the next 8 years destroying this country through the insane Bush Doctrine, the Tax Code re-distribution of wealth to the wealthiest, the gift of 9/11 which occurred because of Bush's obliviousness to all the prior warnings and signals, through the Iraq Fiasco, through Katrina and the drowning of New Orleans, through 8 years of faith-based, anti-science ignorance, through Intelligent Design theories designed to destroy all intelligence among humans, through the mortgage foreclosures, job losses, and meltdowns of the economy, etc. It's a wonder there is anything still conserved of America after 8 years of this Bush "Conservative" in the White House.

Now Conservatives will immediately try to destroy the Obama Administration in the same way -- through lying partisan attacks. If Obama is the Messiah, that's only because we've just spent 8 years under a dumb and lazy Pharaoh who has brought us 8 years of Biblical-proportion plagues. We must defend the Obama administration in every way and fight the Bums of the Far Right. Eternal vigilance is required against these dangerous, destructive, domestic enemies.

Conservatives vs. America

Conservatives have been shitting on America for the past 8 years. Conservatives have now flushed this country into a deep damp cesspool. Even so, most asshole Conservatives sound like they still have diarrhea. Ah -- there's more defacation to come.

Also, Conservative Pundint Pundunces have Diarhhea of the Mouth. Their Idiocy Runneth Over. "Pundint" -- that's a Sarah Palin word -- she's another Conservative genius. "Conservative" is a synonym for "Brain Dead."

2012 Republican Dream Ticket

Like most Democrats, I'm hoping that Sarah Palin will run as the Republican candidate for president in 2012 -- with Joe The Plumber as her running mate. For Democrats, that would be a Republican Dream Ticket.
