Republicans Are Irate About Obama's "Tasteless Joke" About Jessica Simpson's Weight

Obviously, Obama is talking about a tabloid story, and joking about what the tabloids choose to play up as "big news". He is not making a tasteless joke about Jessica Simpson's weight. He's joking about the tabloids. Naturally, so many neo-con Repugs see this as a perfect new attack weapon against Obama, and the rest of them are stupid enough to fall for this new line of Right-Wing doo-doo. With intellects like these, no wonder the Republican Party is falling off the edge of the Earth.
