Sweetheart, Brandon, Bush skewered the tax code in favor of the wealthiest Americans. Bush re-distributed America's wealth so it all flowed to the richest Americans. Bush destroyed America's middle class and consumer class, and put our economy into a deadly spiral of free-fall. reducing taxes on the wealthiest and increasing taxes or keeping taxes the same on everyone else. Obama is trying to put things back to where they once were at, with people who are not at the top also sharing in some of the benefits of America.
Sad to say, Conservatives believe in Feudalism -- with a few wealthy lords and barons at the top, and everyone else consigned to being vassals and slaves. Bush's Conservative policies created a slave economy in the USA. Today, America's feudal barons cannot survive in a slave economy. If America's barons want to keep their fiefdoms, they'd better make damn well sure that all other Americans are thriving. The problem is that most Conservatives don't realize how damn dumb they are. They fall like blind mice for Conservative Propaganda Talk Radio -- Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Laura Schlesinger, Ann Coulter -- corporate mouthpiece puppets who are brain-washing their listeners to support policies that make the rich richer and screw everyone who isn't already in the top two percent.
You're so damn, stupid, Brandon, you are absolutely pathetic. You are supporting political and economic policies that are designed to destroy you. But you're too damn dumb to know any better, and I don't have the strength to try to turn you around. The one thing you have going for you is that so many other Americans have woken up and are now supporting the Obama policies that will save you, in spite of yourself -- and will save most other Americans, too.

I live in a world where I can work hard and earn more money. It would be great if the government would take less of my money and allow me to thrive.

So are you saying Bush did all that by lowing the top income tax bracket from 40% to 35%. Most Americans are not even close to paying 35% in federal income tax.

Brandon, that statistic is actually 80%, not 70%. Eighty percent of American millionaires are first-generation. A large number of them are also democrats. There were no "conservative fat cat" boogeymen preventing their rise to the top.
