We Love George Soros
Conservatives hate George Soros for making money last year by shorting America. Liberals hate George W. Bush for creating the economic conditions which allowed George Soros to make money by shorting America. Now that Obama and the Democrats are running the country, the days of making money by shorting America are over.

Long live King Obama, and the new age of reason. Good bye incurious George. Good bye Palin (please find some good meds if you can. You'll probably have to pay out of pocket, but you really need them.) Good bye [Raygun] and your simple logic that although may have been right for the times, no longer works for today's problems (as incurious George so aptly showed). Good bye loony right, your little chants to the money God are no longer heard. Good morning to a new beginning.
No, you mean the days of making money at all are over.
Yes Brandon, once the financial system really stabilizes, good ol Obama will regulate the banking money grubbers into the next century. The days of trading paper, pursuits that really don't produce anything but more paper, are nearly over.
Brandon, does the system really have you convinced that all you have to do is work hard, and you too can be one of the masters of the universe? That's what they want you to believe. The system is fixed, you won't get in. Don't delude yourself.

You're wasting your time. You can try to teach Brandon some common sense, but it ain't gonna work. He's too far gone. He does believe that little fairy tale about working hard and becoming a master of the universe. All that will happen is he will get a bloody head from banging his head against the wall.
I agree CJP, they like George the incurious have been telling themselves their catch phrases for so long, good versus evil, government is incompetent, taxes are bad, on and on ad nauseum, they have brainwashed themselves. As was intended all along.
What's really scary is Palin. If she can clean up her act, just a little, who knows. Can you imagine the damage that could happen with a Palin (Bush * 4)? We're talking total financial meltdown and probably new witch trials, because those loons will have to blame someone.
I couldn't agree with you more, Anonymous.
What kind of world do you two live in? How much money have you made in your life? How much of that money do you still have left? Without government you can keep a much larger about of the money you earn.
What is your big master plan CJP? Sit on your ass and wait for Obama to solve all your problems?
Maybe you two idiots could expain to me how, if I work hard and earn money, I will not get to keep it. Excluding taxes, of course.
Brandon, you dolt. Do you realize if you suffer a catastrophic medical condition, the glorious insurance companies will try everything possible to get out of paying your bills? If you don't have much, and have to declare bankruptcy, no big deal. If you have a lot, won't all that work you did feel like a total waste, as it is now lining the pocket of your poster child CEO, that you aspire to and think so wonderful?
All I ask is for non profit health care, either independent management or government. Why is that so bad?
Can't you give up your F22s and F35s? Do you really think we'll ever need them? Defense reduction would easily pay for health care.
You all are hypocrites of incredible proportions. Thumpin the bible with one hand, while clutching a fistful of cash, and threatening everyone with the other. Doesn't the bible talk about love and tolerance and helping the poor? How can you live with the such conflicting impulses?
Why do you keep tying the bible into the conversation? I dont go to church if that is what you think.
As for catastrophic medical condition, I am not sure what falls into this catagory, but I did break my neck. It was very expensive, but my insurance covered it as they said they would.
Also, when you can retire with a net worth well over $1,000,000 and have insurance that covers you up to $2,000,000 and never make of $40,000/yr. in your life. I think I will be able to cover my medical cost.
As for the F-22, I would consider cutting back on them in order to pay down the nation debt! We are waiting billions and billions on interest for being in debt. That is really stimulating!
There is a difference in helping the poor and simply giving them money!
Brandon, do you know how many loopholes the insurance companies have? Do you read all that crap they send you in the mail, defining the details of your policy? Sure you do. And even then, lawyers will be arguing about what it says until ?
I dont know of any loop hole in my policy and yes, I have read most of it. Why the hell woulnt you read an insurance policy? We are talking about alot of money and its well worth the time to read it.
So if your big problem is that insurance companies dont cover claims, then how about approaching that side of this argument instead of taking complete control of the health insurance businesso r giving a government option that cost billions.
Another question, why is the government option going to cost anything? Why doesnt the government require people to pay something for it? If all the costs come from evil insurance companies administration fees.
Why doesnt the government require people to pay something for it?
JC Brandon, go see what they are saying about the plan. Most people will have to pay something.
And you know, most doctors and hospitals love Medicare now. Very reliable payment. No bullshit, like they get from insurance companies, or not near as much. Do you realize most doctors would never get in the medical business again because of all the trouble they have with insurance companies?
So again, why is it going to cost tax payers hundreds of billions of dollars if people are paying for it?
Estimated 100 billion per year. And it will cover 96 percent or so of the US. So far from what I hear, its really hard to get out of not paying anything unless you get a waver. It's going to be prorated, but such is life. Like taxes.
You can always opt out and stay with your regular insurance. I will flee both my insurances in a second. I'm guessing both my insurances cost 1k per month. And I'll still be in court if I get cancer or such (because I will sue for full reimbursement).
Again, why is it going to cost anything. Democrats keep selling everyone on health care reform by saying the costs are from administration fees and the conpensation due to the uninsured. With this plan their shouldnt be any administration costs and their will be almost no uninsured. So, why is it going to cost so much?
Gd, Brandon, 100 billion a year is con chicken feed.
We're putting the poor on the books, so that's where the 100 billion is coming from. Right now the poor go to the emergency rooms. Where and when is that accounted for? Do you see? We're just shuffling paper. Do you realize that's all money really is? Paper.
Brandon, according to your great leader W, everyone has health insurance now. All they have to do is go to the emergency room.
So you agree all it would do is shift the cost around so the wealthiest Americans would be paying for other peoples health insurance.
Yes, the progressive American way! Make someone else pay for YOUR problems.
Where do you draw the line as poor?
Let's play Spot the Logical Fallacy:
Exhibit #1: "We can afford this $1 Trillion plan because that's just chicken feed compared to what the cons [actually, make that neocons; there is a big difference] have already spent!"
Exhibit #2: "Oh well, it's all just paper anyway."
Brandon buddy, progressive is live and learn. Carter was wrong. We all know that. [Raygun] was right for the times, but he is wrong now (Communism was bad, but communism is mostly dead). Live, learn, and adapt. That's life.
Comon Anon, [Raygun] and W. that's the only way they got away with what they did, print (borrow) paper (money). [Raygun] was right for the times. Communism is evil. Times have moved on.
maybe you should tell that to the Chinese.
So you agree all it would do is shift the cost around so the wealthiest Americans would be paying for other peoples health insurance.

"Comon Anon, [Raygun] and W. that's the only way they got away with what they did, print (borrow) paper (money)."
"Comon"?
But thanks for making my point for me. "We can afford this $1 Trillion plan because that's just chicken feed compared to what Reagan and W have already spent! And it's only paper anyway, let's print some more!"
Once again, let's play Spot the Logical Fallacy!
"We can afford this $1 Trillion plan because that's just chicken feed compared to what Reagan and W have already spent! And it's only paper anyway, let's print some more!"
jc, anon, who the hell are you quoting?
You mean you can't recognize the condensed version of your own arguments?
Let's play Spot the Logical Fallacy: Exhibit #1: "We can afford this $1 Trillion plan because that's just chicken feed compared to what the cons [actually, make that neocons; there is a big difference] have already spent!" Exhibit #2: "Oh well, it's all just paper anyway."
