Where Can You Find A Wise Latina Woman When You Need One?
Obama was wrong to say that the Boston police "acted stupidly" by arresting Professor Gates. What he should have said was that, if they had acted with the wisdom and experience of "a wise Latina woman", this situation would never have happened.

I'm just saying that "a wise Latina woman" can probably make better decisions than many white men, including some who wear police uniforms. Now, that's just a fact, Anonymous. I'm sure you agree, don't you?

WOW CJP, is this a serious blog? Your comment was totally discriminating towards white males. Are you serious that it is a fact? I know you probably heard this before, but if a white male said that he could make a better decision then a Latina women all hell would breaks loose. He would be branded a racist bigot, and his career would be over. now wouldn't you agree?
Bern, Sweetie, you are so right that my heart applauds your perspicacity and incisiveness. That white sucker would be kindly requested by almost everyone to hang up his cleats and leave the playing field forever. He would be history.
However, there's all the difference in the world between a white male speaking out on behalf of white males, and a Hispanic lady saying a word or two on behalf of Hispanic ladies. The difference is Night and Day, as Cole Porter might say. The white male is speaking on behalf of the majority, the establishment, which has had a 225 year history of oppressing minorities. The Hispanic lady is voicing ethnic pride on behalf of a rising, growing American minority group. White males have a rather sullied history of ethnic oppression, Klu Klux Klan, Jim Crow, bigotry, anti-black, anti-minority, racism, and being pro-establishment. Those days are over, Bernie Baby. Gone Are The Days, as the saying goes. America has become a nation of minorities -- a coalition of minorities.
What's more, white males can't be trusted. A few years ago, a rich white male came before the U. S. Senate and testified, under oath, that he would be an umpire, a fair referee. Based on that testimony, he was confirmed as Chief Justice of the U. S. Supreme Court and, since then, he has decided every single case that has come before him on the side of the establishment, the wealthy, the powerful , the employer, the corporation. the rich, the powerful. A fair umpire indeed: Robot Roberts.
Surely, "A Wise Latina Woman" can come to fairer, more equitable decisions than that. Based on her experience as a member of a minority, Judge Sotomayor will probably have much more "sympatico" for the underdog. What's more, she's more likely to act as a judge than as a robot, and to decide each case on its facts -- not on the party-line ideology of the Heritage Foundation.
Can "A Wise Latina Woman" reach a better decision than a wealthy white male? Well, based upon Chief Justice John Roberts' track record so far, that shouldn't be much of a challenge for Justice Sotromayor.
OK CJP, your mind set is just sticking it to the white man huh? I thought this country is moving towards equality, it's hard to have equality for all with bleeding heart liberals like yourself. reverse discrimination but it's OK because the mass liberal media don't report it in it's factual way haha. Your second paragraph is total garbage to compare to make your point. Your gonna compare KKK and anti-black/minority groups from not even in our era to justify Sotomayor's comments and behavior? Yeah discrimination and repression is totally wrong.But that does not make it right in these different time's for whites to be discriminating against for things they have nothing to do with, Total double standard. You say Sotomayor's voicing her ethnic pride and on behalf of Latina women, that's not even the issue don't you get it? Her comment is saying that she is superior to make decisions due to Race/Gender. Go look up the definition of racism maybe the piece's will fit better for you then. Your not holding water here, make your case in point on today's standard's. Look at your mindset cause i have different views then you, the way you word it like I'm for repressing minorities and telling me those times are over. I'm glad they are over i just want equality for all.

Where is your fact's that's a Latina women can come to a better conclusion in law? What is sympathy for the underdog? in court you follow law, not make law. Like Sotomayer once caught on tape saying how she thinks she's making law. Well once again you just compare her to judge Roberts wow great job what point does that prove? Compare anything to a pile of shit and it looks good. Well in closing let's not say anyone can do anything better then the next person due to their skin, like you stated ignorantly several times.
