"North Korean media say Kim Jong Il has pardoned two American journalists and ordered their release during former President Bill Clinton’s visit, AP reports.
Matt McKenna, spokesman for former President Bill Clinton, announced at 7:27 p.m. ET: 'President Clinton has safely left North Korea with Laura Ling and Euna Lee. They are en route to Los Angeles where Laura and Euna will be reunited with their families.' "
This is terrible news for Conservatives. The Cons will be sorely distressed that we did not nuke North Korea back into the Stone Ages before securing the release of these two American journalists.
What appeasement we were guilty of. What weakness shown by Obama. What secret deals we must have entered into.
Listen to Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Savage, Coulter, and the entire Right-Wing Media Klan tomorrow and you'll learn what an awful political disaster was committed by Obama and the Clintons. The secret hands of Jeremiah Wright, William Ayres and Professor Gates can clearly be seen in this back alley deal.
Today, Laura and Euna are free again. Tomorrow the Right-Wing Lunatic fringe takes to the airwaves again. Be sure to tune in to
Fox News and all the other Far Right Crazies to get your red-hot serving of the latest Right-Wing Lunacy.

Actually if you read many conservative forums, and ignore the talk show histrionics, they are giving Bill his due.
Let me be the first conservative commenter here to say "Nice going, Bill!"
A nice word about Bill Clinton from a Conservative? I don't believe it. A historic breakthrough. And you heard it first right here on this Blog, folks. The Red Sea has parted. Will wonders never cease?
I will second that! Bill did good.
CJP: Now it is your turn to open up and admit when Obama and the rest of your precious dem make mistakes. We will never become a better country when we standby our mistakes.
Goodness Gracious! Two Conservatives praising Bill Clinton? And on this Blog? There must be something magical and enchanting about this Blog. I never thought I'd live to see this day.
Brandon:
I'll be the first person on Earth to admit when Obama makes a mistake. I'm still waiting for him to make one.
So then you also stand-by the presidents comments about the police acting stupidly? That he didnt make an asumption that the police officer was lying?

Obviously you never hang out on Conservative forums to check out what the other side is saying. They've been very complimentary of this -- and it would certainly not be the first time they've paid a compliment to a Democrat, far from it. I find that, as a rule, people on Conservative forums are much more fair-minded, more analytical, and less profane and over-the-top emotional, than the leftist forums.
Sure, you get the occasional snide remark, but when someone, even a political foe, does something good, the vast majority of the comments are favorable and complimentary. And the people that do make really nasty remarks are scolded by the others.
You'll find that to be mostly true when a political foe falls ill or loses a loved one, too. A few inappropriate remarks (many of which are removed by a moderator, if the forum has one), but mostly good wishes and prayers for the person and his family. An example I remember is when Ted Kennedy was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I'm no fan of Ted Kennedy, but I wish that condition on no one. So, yes, prayers and thoughts for him and his family.
That's very good, Anonymous. Nice to hear it.
Can you believe that most nutty cons voted for W (the dimwit) over Gore? Those voters are where the blame should be placed for our country's troubles, as after all, W told everyone exactly what he was going to do, then he did it.
You're 100% correct, Reaper. I couldn't agree with you more.
I really have a hard time forgiving the cons. With Gore as president, instead of W, we would be in a different world.

Sorry, that was Reaper as is obvious. But watch, this is what's fun to do to someone without an account.
I am sorry CJP and Reaper and the US as a whole. I see how dumb I was for voting along con lines, and I repent. All I can say is that I must of been brain washed. I now hate Faux News, and can't believe I was so damned dumb to ever listen to their pandering, and flagrant pandering at that, to the simple con mind.
Again, please forgive me,
Evil Anon.
You really love blaming Bush but you keep forgetting about the democratic congress that was really in charge or Barney Frank lobbying to get banks to give out more money! The American people are resonsible for this mess and it has little to nothing to do with the government. Americans love to buy things on credit and pay for them later. When the economy has a hickup and everyone is maxed out, people start losing everything.
The public was encouraged to spend, as it was supposedly good for business. Credit cards offering money to people who could not afford it, house loans, etc.
Regulations were relaxed and or ignored under w, in the name of business. The trust you cons all espouse works for generally 80 percent of the population, but we need regulations for the other 20 percent, for the ones who aren't so trust worthy.
Comon, cons promote spending as it will increase business, which will increase wealth, which will trickle down. Then start over again. That works until the whole system collapses, just like it nearly did.
Who's this Comon you keep referring to? ;-p
Comon, common sense, and your alls mantra.
Heh. No, you were futilely trying to say "Come on," but kept misspelling it as "Comon."
And what is an "alls mantra"?
