Then the sub prime morgage was born and this drove home price up. Gas prices increaced and peoples budgets were crunched. Then the foreclosured started and it was all down hill after that. Banks couldnt get rid of the foreclosures and the supply of homes on the market went thru the roof. Prices fell and then the democrats blamed the republicans.
The republicans tried in 2003 2005 and 2007 to regulate the sub prime industry.
Freddy Mac consisted of 90% sub prime morgages. RISKY LOANS BACKED BY THE GOVERNMENT! They also gave over $100,000 to Obamas campaign. Can you say conflict of interest?

The CRA was revised under Clinton and that is when the sub prime market began to grow. The housing market continued to grow more and more unstable because of the sub prime loans. Prices were driven up because of the number of people buying new homes.

Brandon- Yes it's Glenn Beck's book, only about 175 pages couldn't put it down finished it in 2 days. It also includes the original "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine, book only cost bout 8 bucks. I know by me posting this the Liberals will say Glenn Beck's just a kook, that's cause all they know about him is what the mass Liberal drive by media tells them. But in reality he's a very passionate man making sure this country sticks to what made it great. How it's beyond the petty bickering of the two party dominate system. We also need to push more towards individuals purchasing insurance instead of thru companies and work on allowing individuals to purchase insurance from other states. Increase the competition without government!

Yes, it takes away your freedom of choice! But since you dont want people to fall flat on their faces and you want bankrupcy to be a cake walk, then yes we need liablity coverage.
Let people choose, but when they get into a wreck and dont have coverage, they are going to pay out of pocket or get leans on everything they own without being able to bankrupt any of it!
