Conservatives Are America's Garbage
Conservatives say they believe in charity, not government programs. Yet, we find that over 1 million American students this year are living in homeless situations. Apparently, Conservatives' "charity" has not solved this problem, yet Conservatives oppose any government programs that would reduce homelessness. Conservatives are not outraged by the existence of so many homeless American families. They are outraged when they learn that a homeless person might own a cell phone. Conservatives are America's real garbage.

Oh I suppose the trillions spent on welfare and other government handout programs have solved the poverty in our society. Socialism does not work. It has not worked anywhere in this world. You can not help those that won't even get out of bed before noon. You could give every poor person a job making 100k a year just to sit in a chair and most wouldn't even show up everyday.
We do care about the poor. That is why there are charity groups. And yes we do believe that it rediculous for poor that have nothing to have a cell phone bill along with smoking, drinking and drug use on the tax dollar. People that recieve handouts should have to go through drug testing just as those of us that have JOBS!
THe people that state they can't afford health care are the same ones that don't take care of their health, are overweight, smoke, drink, have 3 new cars, cell phones for everyone in the house, cable and every other perk, but refuse to put the welfare of their family first by purchacing health insurance first over perks.
We need to extermimate the Rightists. Only their physical destruction will prevent their insidious, pernicious beliefs and actions from preading and destroying us all.
If charity would have worked for the real needy and poor, there wouldn't be any need for government involvement.
Probably most Conservatives are the most generous bunch of them all. (to themselves that is)

That is funny!!! Have you looked up what is required to be classified as a homeless student? Did you know in the United States you can live in a home and still be homeless? Only in America!

Anonymous, I don't like what the cons did to the country either, but exterminate might be a little extreme. I mean if cons weren't so GD dumb, and they really knew what they were doing, then maybe try them for treason and give them their just reward. And maybe put them in camps first, to reeducate them, and see if that works. Then if they still insist on destroying the country, then we try them for treason. I just think "exterminate" is a little too strong of a word and has negative connotations (Hitler etc). And they are very paranoid (I might be a little paranoid of them also), so be careful.

Why is it when you get caught misleading people you just move on to some other load of crap?
How about this Idea, any welfare recipient must give 2 hours per week in volunteer work. Real work picking up trash, painting, landscape, laundry. Now we have an exchange for services tilted in the favor of the welfare recipient. The benefits could be cut if the person won't do the community service. You could let them bank the hours so a 6 hr. Saturday would cover them for 3 weeks. Of course this would only apply to Able bodied people with no health concerns. And Seniors would have to be exempt. I have first hand knowledge of the D.E.S. system and 50% or greater of the cases is Fraud. This could weed out the Lazy Street Hustlers so the money could go to the real needy people. brienb I like the drug test idea but that law would never pass. Brandon keep him Honest. The great thing about this Country is we can talk like this and not wind up on a list. At least, I think its still that way.
datadog, I agree with you. Make the welfare recipients do some work. I would suggest around 20 hours per week. They can baby sit each others kids at some center, answer phones (if disabled), etc. I totally agree.

Great idea, I had a similair idea for unemployment. Make they work cleaning the state parks and other things to earn their unemployment benifits. It would cut alot of state jobs and still get the work done.
Brandon the people receiving unemployment worked a Job. And paid into the system. Although I have never needed the help, I believe the welfare criminals are the biggest problem. Unemployment could be controlled by more of the Administrators doing there job and forcing 8 job applications per week instead of 3.

data, I think religion and the right wing cons are the big problem. They promote children, preach abstinence, and try to make abortion as difficult as possible. Then when people who can least afford to have children have them, the cons don't want to help.
And why do my wife and I, with no children, have to help pay for all the cons children? I mean the right is definitely known as the more religious of the two major political parties and sure seems to produce the most kids (generally). So, why aren't you kid loving cons taking care of your own children? You're forcing me, through property taxes, to pay for your kids education that I have no interest in. And, I don't need your kids to take care of me in my old age (if you're going to suggest that). Plus you have all these federal tax exemptions, so most don't even pay federal tax.
It sure seems to me, that cons know best about everything, and don't want to compromise about anything.

Reaper I was referring to Unemployment and Welfare Fraud. Just those two items when I said the Biggest. But since you got me on the subject.
Religion, Totally agree get out of our lives and our bedrooms.
Cons, I am assuming this is Conservatives since I am a Independent I believe both parties have valid points and failures.
Property Taxes, Reaper I tried to find some data to back up what you say about the right having more kids I was unable to get anything. But I believe a Neocon would say "The left has more kids out of wedlock and thus more kids on welfare, you owe us." But since I can't find any data its a mute point. However here is what they did to our property taxes in Arizona. The Schools of Arizona have been over estimating the taxes they needed for the last 12 years. They have over charged tax payers 300 million dollars which they have been using to guaranty loans that the Schools make. All these Administrators are Democrats.
Finally Reaper I do care what you think and say and do. I am not right about everything I say, I just give an opinion and, I as an American, I value all Americans views. Because these problems need all of our ideas to solve them. Peace and Blessings Reaper

For me being an Independent means I can vote for either candidate in the primary election. This allows me some control if I want to get rid of someone I really dislike. I am split between the parties, they both have views I like and dislike. This is what I thought it meant to be independent. Maybe I should call myself a Constitutionalists.
DD, that's the definition I use also. I can vote either way. I liked Reagen, as he was right for the times. I liked Bush the wiser also. Clinton surprised the heck out of me and did a great job. I was against W, and now Palin, from day 1.

Oh! yes, crime is pretty high where I live, so I train with fire arms, Pepper spray too, great for multiple attackers. They just busted a gang called the home invasion crew. They dressed like cops and were kidnapping, robbing, terrorizing people. They've arrested 70 so far with more to come. I still need to get my conceal license but my Lady has her's.
