Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity are the Scum of the Earth

The student has confirmed that he was 16, which is -- and was -- Massachusetts' age of consent

The Student: I "was of legal consent at the time."

The former student at the center of the Fox News-fueled Jennings controversy, whom Jennings has referred to as "Brewster," provided Media Matters for America with the following statement:

"Since I was of legal consent at the time, the fifteen-minute conversation I had with Mr. Jennings twenty-one years ago is of nobody's concern but his and mine. However, since the Republican noise machine is so concerned about my "well-being" and that of America's students, they'll be relieved to know that I was not "inducted" into homosexuality, assaulted, raped, or sold into sexual slavery.

In 1988, I had taken a bus home for the weekend, and on the return trip met someone who was also gay. The next day, I had a conversation with Mr. Jennings about it. I had no sexual contact with anybody at the time, though I was entirely legally free to do so. I was a sixteen year-old going through something most of us have experienced: adolescence. I find it regrettable that the people who have the compassion and integrity to protect our nation's students are themselves in need of protection from homophobic smear attacks. Were it not for Mr. Jennings' courage and concern for my well-being at that time in my life, I doubt I'd be the proud gay man that I am today."

-Brewster

Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity are the Scum of the Earth for trying to smear and destroy Kevin Jennings who did such a remarkable job in helping Brewster through this difficult period in his life. So are their listeners and adherents. Scum attracts Scum. Pardon me. My bad. I apologize. I believe the correct word for these folks is Scumbags. Or, as they say in Spanish, these guys are "Pieces of Chit".

"Beck is 'out and out nuts,' Carville says"

"I think he's nuts, OK?," the outspoken Democrat said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union,"

"Just out-and-out nuts. And I also think that he's a blatant hypocrite," Carville said. "Here's somebody that sits on his show … weeping about how much he loves America and … and then he's absolutely giddy when his country doesn't get the Olympics."

Beck is worse than "Nuts". He's Evil.

CJP, I'm not saying for sure this is true, but I have seen a couple of pics lately of Beck, at events. Both times, he has had these huge guys with sunglasses standing very near, and looking very much like body guards. If those are bodyguards, you have to wonder if he's scared of some pussified liberals.

hispanicontheright said...

I haven't seen the comments quoted anywhere. I wonder why Jennings admitted this if it wasn't true. There are many positions that democrats take that I can understand but only a liberal could make the attempt to justify this. Covering up underage sex is wrong. I don't care if it's a boy or a girl. I guess it wasn't rape rape.

Reaper:

Anyone who has become as much of a lightning rod as Glenn Beck has good reason to be scared. There are always unhinged nut cases on both sides of the political spectrum. Unfortunately, these bad fools don't realize that the side which commits the violence only hurts itself. All that violence does is to unleash a tidal wave of revulsion from the rest of the country.

That's why King and Ghandi were so enormously successful with their tactics of peaceful, non-violent resistance.

Reaper said...

And both were assassinated.

Ghandi, the movie was incredible. Very moving.

CJP said...

hispanicontheright :

What did Jennings "admit"? What are you talking about? Jennings was telling a story about how much he had helped a young gay student. "Brewster", psychologically and emotionally, handle an incident which occurred 21 years ago.

The student, who is now 37, has just confirmed how helpful Jennings was to him at the time and how much he benefited in his life from Jennings' concern and friendship.

It was the Right-Wing which tried to twist this very positive story into something dirty.

What do you mean by "under-age sex"? In Massachusetts, the age of consent is 16, and the student was 16 at the time of the incident.

Don't you Righties know the difference between "under-age sex" and the age of consent? Can't Conservatives count? A trained horse could probably count better, and knows the difference between 15 and 16.

CJP said...

Yes, Reaper, tragically, King and Ghandi were both assassinated. But the movements they founded were both triumphant, and their assassinations actually served to strengthen their movements.

Unfortunately, those assassinations also deprived the world of any future contributions from these two great men.

hispanicontheright said...

The number 16 might have come up now but Jennings never disputed the 15 number. He admitted that he only asked if he "used a condom" and also said looking back he would have done things differently. Looks like an embarrassment to the administration because they won't even comment on it. Only a liberal state like Taxachusetts would have 16 as the age of consent. Must be a lot of former pedophiles there. Nice job libs.

CJP said...

I haven't checked all the states, but I'm sure there are others where 16 is the age of consent.

Of course, Conservatives are against sex for 22-year olds also, as Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky found out.

RayGun said...

"Of course, Conservatives are against sex "

---

Yes they are, except in strict missionary position, or on floors in airport bathrooms.

It's so hypocritical that backdoor bathroom Larry Craig, was one of the cons pushing hardest for the Clinton impeachment.

CJP said...

Why does the White House need to comment on this incident? No one in the White House was there. The only person whose comment is important is the former student, Brewster, and he has now spoken out loud and clear. Unlike Kevin Jennings, Conservatives have no interest whatsoever in protecting young gay kids. Their only interest, as shown by your comments, HCTR, is to try and embarrass the White House. Once again, Conservatives are embarrassing themselves.

hispanicontheright said...

I'm sure there are other states where 16 is the age of consent. I'm also sure they're run be democrats. I love sex. I just think it shouldn't be with a child. I just think we have a difference of opinion.

CJP said...

HOTR:

If you think that the majority of people in Massachusetts are "pedophiles", then we certainly do have a difference of opinion. I'm sure the good people of Massachusetts will be happy to learn about that. It's statements like that which have turned Conservatives into a ranting irrelevant Noise Machine.

hispanicontheright said...

I don't think that at all. Just stating that 16 seems to be a little to young to be of age. Also stating that an older person having sex with a 16 year old doesn't seem right but seems to be ok with the left. If it's not against the law then it's ok with you. Right?

RayGun said...

"Both men and women had great social pressure on them to marry. Young girls were often married by the age of 13 or 14 and if women weren't married by the age of 25, it was socially humiliating."

This is not the best source, but confirms what I thought, so probably accurate?

http://www.angelfire.com/ca/HistoryGals/Chloe.html

So you cons think our fore fathers were perverts?

CJP said...

HOTR:

I used to think that Conservatives believed in the law. Well, actually, I never really believed that. Conservatives like to say that they do. But the simple fact is that Conservatives prefer to pick and choose which laws they believe in.

CJP said...

If young girls could be married at age 13 or 14, then what's so bad about making 16 the age of consent?

I've had enough of this thread. There's no way I'm gonna talk about 13 year olds. I hope not all libs think like this. You're starting to sound creepy.

CJP Beck is not as EVIL as NAMBLA. And your side gives a pass to these people. Maybe you could tell us how you feel about NAMBLA.

CJP I can't believe you will use the names of 2 great speakers and pacifist. You did not say a thing to the blogger on the left that suggested killing those on the right. You pump out hate speech, no data, no facts, even after numerous request for your sources. How about substance maybe write about something from a Liberal station.
By the way it was Reaper that chastised the rogue lefty, though a little weakly.

Thank you, Anonymous, for bringing NAMBLA into this discussion. You've prompted me to put up a brand new post on that subject.

Well, HOTR, thanks to you, I did a little checking, and it turns out that 16 is the legal age of consent in 33 different states, including "Taxachusetts". That's 2/3 of the states in this country. There must be a lot of pedophiles running around the USA, if those are the laws. Or, HOTR, are you just out of touch with the nation you live in?

CJP, there you go talking about children again. WTF is your fascination with them? I'm starting to get worried about you.

So having sex with people 16 years old is having sex with children?

hispanicontheright said...

"So having sex with people 16 years old is having sex with children?"

Raygun, if you're 16 then I think you don't have a problem. If you're over 21 then I think you do. Either way keep talking to CJP about having sex with children. I'm done.

RayGun said...

hispanicontheright, regarding 16 year olds having sex, in days not too far gone, it was perfectly acceptable to marry 14 year old girls. And most religions thought nothing of it, and many still don't. So you being a conservative, and liking the old ways by definition (see below), seem a little contrary in proclaiming pedophiles are under every bush. But then again, cons tend to be a contrary lot. I think cons just like telling others what to do. :-)

con⋅serv⋅a⋅tive

1. disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
2. cautiously moderate or purposefully low: a conservative estimate.
3. traditional in style or manner; avoiding novelty or showiness: conservative suit.

RayGun said...

"If you're over 21 then I think you do."
--
hispanicontheright, that means, if CJPs facts are correct, that 33 states lawmakers, and the voters who voted for those lawmakers, are pedophiles, or wanna be pedophiles, for allowing by law to have sex with 16 year olds?

Are you sure your not Catholic, as you do seem a little prudish.

hispanicontheright said...

Raygun, I'm not as conservative as you think. As a matter of fact I will admit this. I actually voted for Al Gore. I was a democrate because of where I grew up. Bronx, NY. I wasn't into politics at the time but everyone of my friends and family was a democrat so I followed the same line. I even think that abortion is a womans choice. I actually started paying attention when Gore started sueing Florida for the recount. After the 6th or 7th recount I thought to myself "this is getting ridiculous". What put me over the top was that even though it was clear that Bush had more votes, the democrats kept saying Bush stole the election. What I couldn't understand is why is the media agreeing with this. They recounted 7 times, all with the same conclusion. Now I still wasn't on the right but I just started paying more attention. I found the media to be overwhelmingly bias. This is just my opinion. I disagree at times with both parties. I just disagree a little more with the left. Talking about 16 year old have nothing to do with politics. I believe it's wrong. I have cousins, nieces and friends who have 16 year olds. I have spoken to them. THEY'RE CHILDREN!! They speak about silly children things. They can be easily taken advantage of. I don't think that a 16 year old is mature enough to have sex with an older man. When I was 16 I had sex with 16 year old girls. I don't believe I'm prudish. I'm 42 and I have sex with mature women not 16 year old children who're still in high school. Now PLEASE, PLEASE stop talking about this and talk about real issues. This is just starting to bore me.

RayGun said...

Sorry, but I thought whatever you and CJP was talking about involved a 16 year old boy.

I think what the big Florida stink regarding w and Gore was the dis-allowance of certain votes, particularly black votes.

Gore in his book, also said that if he would of won the election, there is a very good possibility that 9/11 would not of happened. Knowing what I know, I would agree.

Damn, if only cons read more, even just read the bible, they would see how wrong they were about so much :-)

And by the way, I liked [RayGun] because communism was bad (not for trickle down), Bush the wiser (I was in the first Iraq war, kindof as I was in an Artic USAF squadron, so didn't actually go to Iraq) and the first McCaine.

But Clinton also did a fantastic job and dems are better suited to the new times. And women are probably better suited than men (except Palin as shes so GD dumb).

RayGun. What???? What does it matter if it's a boy or a girl? Straight and gay should be outraged when a middle aged person has sex with a 16 year old person. Except for you guys of course.

Cons, quite telling people what to do. A short time ago 12-13 year olds were ok. Now 16 year olds are too young? Pretty soon we'll all have to be 35 to have sex. Cons, give it up. You are not our morale leaders, as much as you would like to be. Your immorality is evident by what you allow to pass for the less fortunate among us.

hispanicontheright said...

RayGun, how about 15 year olds? Is that ok with you?
How many 16 year olds do you know live on their own?
I'm not telling you what to do. This is a blog isn't it? Should I not contribute to it. I couldn't care less what you do just stay away from the 16 year olds that I know.

hispanicontheright said...

What does this mean? Are you so unfortunate that you can only get 16 year olds? I'm starting to realize what's going on with you and CJP. lol
