Some people say that Obama left himself open to attack by going overseas to campaign to bring the 2016 Summer Olympics to Chicago, and not succeeding.
However, Obama would have left himself open to attack if he had not gone overseas to campaign for the Olympics in Chicago, since so many millions of dollars were at stake for the US economy.
In fact, Obama would have left himself open to attack if he had gone overseas and the Olympics Committee had actually awarded the 1916 Summer Olympics to Chicago, because he went there instead of spending more time meeting with his generals on Afghanistan.
No matter what Obama did, he would have left himself open to attack.
Don't buy into this Republican baloney. They are trained Right-Wing attack dogs, and all they know how to do is to attack -- as anyone can hear by listening to them every day. They have nothing to offer this country except Bull, Spit and Smears --- and more Attacks.

Brainwashed is right. The cons voices of delusion just keep repeating crap, and no matter how crazy it is, the cons start believing them.
It's hard to say he would have been attacked if he got the Olympics because it would have made a statement. A great statement I must admit. The fact that he was rebuffed in the 1st round is what does him in. This is why there has never been an American president speaking at these meetings. There is something to gain but there is a lot more to be lost.
Well, at least he tried. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
