Ray Gun on Bush the Dumber

My dear friend Ray Gun has sent me a communication which I think is so important that I would like to share it with all the folks who come to visit this site, as follows:

RayGun has left a new comment on your post "Conservatives Are a National Security Nightmare":

"Please consider reading Richard Clarke's book, "Against All Enemies."

Here's an over view of Clarke which appears accurate to me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_A._Clarke

Please note that Condi Rice, upon first hearing of Al Qaeda, appeared to not have had a clue on who they were.

The book is extremely damning and, since Clarke worked under [RayGun] and Bush the Wiser, seems hard to call him partisan.

Many called Clinton obsessed with Al-Qaeda, and then when he was being prosecuted for the BJ and sent cruise missiles after Osama, he was accused of trying to divert attention. At other times, Clinton was accused by the cons of wasting million dollar missiles blowing up tents.

Bush the Dumber wanted nothing to do with Al-Qaeda as it was Clinton's focus. Thanks, W."

Thank you, Ray Gun. Great Stuff. Right on target!

Clinton was obsessed with Bin Laden?? What a joke!! Saudie Arabia offered bin laden to Clinton. His response was he had no legal basis.

Clinton even had an opportunity to kill bin laden on several occasions but refused. Some "obsession".
Richard Clarke covers his butt because he did not kill bin laden when he had the chance.

"Clinton: To the best of my knowledge it is not true that we were ever offered him by the Sudanese even though they later claimed it. I think it's total bull. Mr. Absurabi, the head of the Sudanese government was a buddy of bin Laden's. They were business partners together. There was no way in the wide world this guy who was in business with bin Laden in Sudan was going to give him up to us."

You are one million percent correct, Ray Gun.

Richard Clarke said exactly the same thing in his book to try and debunk this crap. And, Richard Clarke was appointed to his position by both of the Bushes as well as by Clinton. Clarke is as non-partisan as it gets.

However, Conservatives never met a lie they didn't like. This one is a prime example.

Yeah guys, I guess he was acting on the audio tapes. Richard Clarke is without a doubt feeling guilty about letting bin laden get away. I blame him more than anyone else. Go ahead libs. Try talking yourself into that bullcrap from Clinton and Clarke. Only libs can believe someone after proof is given. Look at Carter. He's on videotape saying that all Obama critics are racist. Then asked if he really believes that he says "I didn't say that". LOL

What are you talking about? I don't listen to UTube. Show me in writing what you are talking about, even if the writing is in reference to a recording.

Libs never want to hear anything. Let me say this. If you don't believe Clinton and Clarke blew this then you must believe that bin laden reigned free during Clintons presidency. You must mean that even though Clinton was "obsessed" with bin laden, he was played like a fool because he could never find him. You must mean that his "obsession" grew because of his total incompetance at catching bin laden. Is that what you mean?

I mean Clinton compared to W, who did absolutely nothing about Osama, was obsessed. And the right wing nuts, by prosecuting Clinton for a BJ, helped Osama.

Clarke was there for many years, and he comes down hard on W, and knowing W's slacker ways, Clarkes portrayal is accurate.

W was a slacker, and the worst, most incompetent president in history, and quite a few crazy cons voted for him twice. I would be embarrassed if I was one of those cons.

ooohhhh so now Clinton wasn't obsessed with bin laden. lol. So you mean that Clinton didn't care about bin laden. You must mean bin laden ran care free because Clinton didn't think twice about him. You must mean bin laden wasn't even an afterthought with Clinton. Thank you. Now I see why bin laden could take 5 years to plan 911 attacks without a care in the world. I also thank Richard Clarke for staring down the evil of uh uh........... forget it. He didn't stare down anybody.

Sorry to break this to you RayGun but I voted for Bush twice. I have buyers remorse and wondered what could have been. But Kerry was a weak pick for the Party which he showed by sticking his foot in his mouth. And we never saw Kerry again.
Everyone makes bad decisions some times, in multiples. By that I mean me. Peace and Blessings
