Rush Limbaugh says he "agrees with the Taliban". He also says he wants America to fail. If the election were held tomorrow, the Taliban should get more votes than the Republicans because the Taliban have done far less damage to this country than Conservatives have.
The DOW closed above 10,000 today, and Obama's Stimulus Package was the legislation which rescued America's banks and financial institutions from destruction. Only three Senate Republicans voted for this rescue package. Republicans have truly become the "Party of NO!" Let's remember that on Election Day. If Obama's Stimulus Package had failed, so would many of our most important banks and financial institutions, and the DOW today would probably be far below the 6,300 level it was at when Obama took office.
Now Republicans are trying to wreck Obama's Health Reform Plan. Obama's Health Plan would help the economy by significantly reducing health insurance premiums for small businesses. By providing health care coverage for all Americans, Obama's plan would ease the current financial burden on hospital emergency rooms which provide medical services for indigent persons and are either reimbursed through taxpayer dollars or are not reimbursed at all.
As for the two wars which Republicans bequeathed to Obama, Conservatives are now pressing Obama to precipitously rush 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan at a time when most Al Quaida operations have moved to Pakistan and when even the highly respected General McCrystal is talking about the corruption of the Karzai regime which is making it increasingly difficult for us to gain the support of the Afghan people in our effort to win that war.
Obama is now focusing on new programs to create jobs and put millions of unemployed Americans back to work. You can bet the Conservatives will fight him tooth and nail on that one, too. They really do want America to fail.

Right on, DLO. You are so right. Rush is preaching to his choir -- a bunch of right-wing wackos -- and he's making a fortune exploiting all their fears and prejudices.
CJP Al and Jesse are getting sued for false statements. If all of those statements are true where is the audio clip. Is that why you can say it on your little blog but the big media won't make these statements. If Rush really made these racist statements why would Rush have black listeners that are NFL Players.
Anyway thought I would warn you that you could be sued if you can't produce the source of your quotes. But maybe you are to small for his Lawyers to come after you. He is only asking for a retraction of the statements, but that might make you physically ill.
Those statements are all sourced. What's more, if you listen to Rush regularly, you will hear similar racist and sexist statements from him every day. They are enough to turn your stomach.
Just today, Rush was comparing Republican female Senators who are supporting Obama's Health Plan to "Nags" -- female horses. No wonder some people call Rush a "comedian". He can't be for real.

How do you differentiate the policies that Obama supports from any other liberal Democrat's? It was our liberal Democrat policies that led to the market instability and a lot of hard work that timed the meltdown perfectly for the election.

I was just listening to his speech on FOX and he was describing how small businesses need more loans. He then goes on to give examples of the companies that would need these loans.
A man started a company that now has ten stores. Due to the economy he has fallen thru on one loan and is MAXED OUT on his credit. Now the government is going to pressure banks into giving this guy more money.
Why would you give someone more money who cant afford the loans he has now?
Bad loans got us into this mess and we are going to keep doing the same things to keep us in this mess!
