Rush Limbaugh has blamed "race hustlers" for wrecking his NFL team ownership bid, claiming he is a casualty of "Obama's America". Rush said that President Obama has created a climate which led NFL owners and the league to nix him as a part-owner of the St. Louis Rams. Rush stated that pressure from the Rev. Al Sharpton and other "race hustlers" was responsible for his being rejected as an NFL team owner.
Limbaugh was part of a group led by Dave Checketts (owner of the St. Louis Blues hockey team) that was bidding to acquire ownership of the St. Louis Rams. However, Checketts dropped Limbaugh as a partner, saying he had become "a complication and a distrraction" after black NFL players cited Limbaugh's racist remarks.
Gee, Rush, I wonder why that happened to you. I guess it's all the fault of professional "race hustlers" like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson -- and "Obama's America".
I'm sure it had nothing at all to do with any of the remarks you have made in your radio broadcasts over the years, such as:
1. ""I mean, why didn't these morons leave New Orleans before the hurricane? I'll tell you why: because they wanted to rape and loot! That's just the way some people are! And if they're black — if the rapists and looters are black — it's not George Bush's fault! We've had these problems ever since the Emancipation Proclamation. Once the whites leave town, all you've got is overwhelming lawlessness. That's not racism, Mr. Snerdley; it's a proven, demonstrable fact."
2. "Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?"
3. "The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies."
4. "Take that bone out of your nose and call me back (to an African American female caller)."
5. "In Obama's America, the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering".
6. "Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it."
7. "I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They’re interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there’s a little hope invested in Donovan McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn’t deserve."
I'm sure, Rush, it had nothing to do with the fact that, based on these and other comments of yours, African-American NFL players didn't want you in the league. They had no desire to play for a team of which a white racist was part owner. And, perhaps, feeling the way you do, Rush, you would probably not to want to have any African-American players playing on your team.
That's too bad, Rush. You could have fielded a lily-white All-American team for the world. You could have changed the name of the St. Louis Rams to The Great White Hopes. You could have shown us all how well an all-white team, with no black players, can perform in today's NFL. Your revival of white racial pride on the football gridiron would have done the KKK proud.
What a lost opportunity, Rush. Well, that's "Obama's America" for you. Too bad, El Rushbo.

Considering that over half of those comments that you just posted Rush never said ill just let this whole blog fall by the wayside. Most of those were just made up to smear him. Some of those other ones yes were a bit harsh but that doesnt make him a racist. The comment about McNabb had nothing to do with black people it had to do with society pushing for a black quarterback to succeed. I am all for equal rights and success comes over time as long as you just let it happen. You dont need to push things to happen and just make success out of nothing...that is the point he was trying to make but people just took it as racism cause he was a white guy saying it.
The NFL decides who becomes an owner not the other way around.
All this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has to offer is his money and his opinions, (which in my opinion are on the fringes of racism, one mans opinion). There are many more groups biding for the Rams, not just his group. Lets face it there are more men with money (Marshall Faulk) that will gladly fill the slot and the Rams will win or lose depending on how well they work as a team and not on whether or not Rush is an owner.
As for Vick, well he is a player (he has talent not like you, Rush or I, unless you are a NFL player?) and he served his time and the NFL decided we live in the land of second chances, so why not (I personally don’t like it but, oh well). Life has never been fair (NEWS FLASH!)
Now as to the “Free Speech” argument, I guess many of you like myself heard Rush on Thursday “Almost in tears”, priceless. But the last couple of days he now is in his normal ranting and will continue until someone surpasses him, “Free Speech” continues, so what is being stifled, it simply is not true, of course, you may not have a radio, so you might want to get one.

PS – I am sure someone is working to put the tapes together maybe all you subscribers can help, since you are all about getting to the truth?
PPS- Beauty Pageant Judge - Now I understand why he lost the weight, to find a new wife, creepy.
Very good, Paul. Well said.
The NFL can do very will without being involved with Limbaugh and his idiotic, "Race Hustler" rants.
Well, Anon, you can say that Rush never said these things. Unfortunately, there are people who put themselves through the pain and misery of actually listening to Rush, and they post his most outrageous comments on the Internet.
Occasionally, even I tune in and hear Rush call Senators like Olympia Snowe "nags" because they are supporting Obama's Health Reform plan. That's enough to turn my stomach and I'm gone.
However, the NFL believes Rush said these things -- and many more (this is just a partial listing) -- and they don't think he belongs in a league devoted to sports and sportsmanship.
Frankly, I don't believe Rush belongs on the air.
However, free speech is free speech -- and free speech works for both the goose and the gander. So, you keep listening to that silly goose quacking away and, every so often, we'll take a gander at his most outrageous comments. Maybe we'll even start an Outrage of the Day section.
Hi Paul, I typed in Rush Limbaugh over at mediamatters.org and received 72 pages of results. I would rather not personally listen to Rush blowing hot air into my ear.
"You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray (the assassin of Martin Luther King). We miss you, James. Godspeed."
CJP, sounds like the above qoute is not accurate.

Rush will not sue, because if he does, he will be deposed and like Nixon he knows that the tapes will sink him. Poor little Rush, no out except creating the myth that everyone is out to get him. Sorry sucka you can only yourself to blame for your idiot comments. NFL wins you lose. Tee, hee....
I agree Montana, this stuff has been around for a long time, but CJP, maybe out of honesty, the one quote should be taken down? I checked a few others and they seemed valid.
Ray Gun:
I found the James Earl Ray quote posted along with all these other ones. What makes you think that Rush didn't really make this comment? It's not so far removed from all his other outrageous statements.
Rush is a "comedian" -- if you're into white racist humor.
No one reads my links. Here it is again:

The above link and others seem pretty convincing to me. Type this into google:
"You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray (the assassin of Martin Luther King). We miss you, James. Godspeed."
minus "(the assassin of Martin Luther King)" and a lot of links come up. I only spent about 3 minutes on it, so I could be wrong.
And if Rush was implying that about a national leader, I think ... maybe against the law? Certainly pushing it.
Hey, maybe Faux News will sue the White House for disparaging remarks?
I really wish the good guys would break up Murdochs nest of rags.
And I agree with the congressman Alan Grayson in that:
"Fox News and their Republican collaborators are the enemy of America."
Thats good, anybody who disagrees with you is the enemy. Way to go thats a really good way to think about it. Why is it that whenever someone disagrees with a liberal or a democrat they are automatically a hater or a racist or they hate the enviornment? I dont believe in what conservatives are doing and i dont believe in what this president is doing. We need to go back to when this country was great when the free market reigned supreme. Obama is trying to control everything, thats a problem. I agree that government should regulate some things and make sure that people arent being taken advantage of, but they should not have their hand in everything. Its one of the first steps towards a government run country but i guess all of you dont see it that way.
OK, Ray Gun. I'll go along with you on this one. I've deleted the quote about giving James Earl Ray a posthumous Medal of Honor, since it's very possible that Rush didn't actually say this one.
However, I've substituted a quote, just as good, which Rush did say about the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
One good thing about Rush. He's a bottomless source of bottom-fishing.
