The ideology of cons is completely out of sync. They hate and look down on poor people yet hire people to work for them for as little as they can get away with. Then they hate the poor even more for not being able to purchase health care insurance. Logical thinking of them, eh?
Of course, then there are the poor cons who are wannabe cons and would love to be accepted by the established cons. But in reality they never will be. How sad.

I would imagine Canada's is higher than the US simply because of waiting. Dam they have a whole web site that talks about nothing else but Canadian's waiting for health care. I know a woman who went for a checkup and was immediately sent to put stints in her blood vessels. She didn't have to wait at all and she has no health care insurance. This is what libs want?? To wait for health care??

You may not be aware Anon2, that in this country, the fire dept, schools, and police depts are all funded on the STATE LEVEL. These are not federal agencies. What conservatives want is to limit the powers of the FEDERAL government. You probably have not read our constitution, but the 17 page document called the US Constitution, expressly limits the powers of the federal government.

2 things: #1-- taxes are taxes, but the division of power and the limits of government, are the points that I was making. You tend to not understand our Constitution. Our services are not all federal government services. You need to understand that.
