FOX News on ACORN vs. Blackwater

After aggressively promoting ACORN videos, Fox News ignores reports of Blackwater bribes:

On the evening of November 11, Fox News personalities did not discuss reports from the previous evening that officials at Xe Services, formerly Blackwater Worldwide, had authorized $1 million in bribery payments to Iraqi officials in the aftermath of a fatal shooting involving Blackwater security guards. By contrast, Fox News devoted more than one hour on September 10 to discussing videos of conservative activists James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles posing as a pimp and a prostitute while asking for assistance from employees at an ACORN office.

Hey, FOX News, how come a few stupid comments by low-level ACORN employees rate one hour of news coverage, whereas $1 million in bribes authorized by the highest level of Blackwater executives is not newsworthy? What's your definition of "News", FOX News?

FOX News doesn't seem to know its News from its Elbow.

You libs hate it when ACORN gets caught out there. lol Blackwater. haha. Ancient history. Talk about something like the terrorist shooting at the army base. Seems more information is coming out about the close ties and obvious (except to libs) closeness to extreme islamic terrorists.

hispanicontheright said...

It's funny because I don't remember the lib media reporting on these blackwater bribes either yet you worry about the news organization you don't watch. Weird.

hispanicontheright said...

Oh I get it now CJP. You just want to say that lib news doesn't know news from it's elbow either. I understand now. Thanks for clearing that up.

RayGun said...

Faux News sucks. I hope Obama breaks up Murdochs nest of rags.

CJP said...

I second your motion, Ray Gun.

CJP said...

The biggest thing ACORN has done wrong is to help poor people get decent housing and turn out the vote to help Democrats win elections. No wonder Conservatives hate ACORN so much.

Blackwater's bribery is "old news"? Well -- stupid comments by several low-level ACORN employees is NO news.

Yes, Yes!! LIBERALS for the DESTRUCTION of the CONSTITUTION!! LIBERALS for the DEATH of FREEDOM of SPEECH!! WHEN WILL THEY KILL YOUR FREEDOM??!! LOL.

Pretty telling, don't you think?

RayGun said...

"Pretty telling, don't you think?"

That you are a raving madman like Anon2 suggests? :-)

hispanicontheright said...

Isn't that wild that the libs can't help themselves? They always show the true goal.

hispanicontheright said...

RayGun keep up the comments. We don't want to surpress your freedom of speech.

hispanicontheright said...

We love it that you have all the freedom of speech you want. Isn't that great?

RayGun said...

"Murdoch's publications have been said to have conservative leanings, in comparison with other national newspapers. During the buildup to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, all 175 Murdoch-owned newspapers worldwide editorialized in favor of the war."
--
Wow, happy coincidence? Plus all his other so called news outlets. Time to break them up.

hispanicontheright said...

How cool is that to you RG? Isn't it great to have freedom of speech and not have to worry about the government taking away your freedom? Surely, you agree with that?

hispanicontheright said...

"Plus all his other so called news outlets. Time to break them up."
RG

Isn't it great to live without fear of saying your opinion?

Isn't that right CJP?

RayGun said...

Not cool to me at all.

No one should have that much control over media. Laws are out there to prevent too much ownership in media by any one person already. I just think the threshold should be even lower than it is currently.

RayGun said...

Why the reference to CJP?

hispanicontheright said...

I'd like to get his opinion as well. He, along with you, enjoys the great freedom of speech every day right on this blog. I want to know how he feels about living without any fear from the government of speaking his opinions. Obviously he is aware that he has that freedom so I'm just curious as to why it's ok to take away freedom of speech of someone you don't agree with. I love that fact that I can speak my mind. More importantly, I am just as greatful that you, CJP and other libs can speak your mind. I have no desire to take that freedom away from you.

Go to go. see you later.

Casey said...

Hey, if you don't like Fox News, you can just change the channel. Isn't that what all of you Libs say? Isn't it funny how you want to shut it down or "break it up" when it is something that you don't agree with? "Freedom of Speech" for everyone but those that you don't agree with. This is the exact hypocrisy that made me take a serious look at my policial leanings a few years ago. I used to be a Dem/Liberal until I really started to LISTEN and stop just spouting the party line!

RayGun said...

The right wing nuts are the ones telling everyone what to do. Not only telling, but yelling. Of course you cons just call it morals, your version of course, and we all know your version is the correct version.

Cons, you have been wrong about absolutely everything the last 8 years or so.

hispanicontheright said...

"The right wing nuts are the ones telling everyone what to do. Not only telling, but yelling. Of course you cons just call it morals, your version of course, and we all know your version is the correct version."

I just figured RG out. He cuts and pastes the above response anytime he doesn't have a point.
Ex:
blah.......blah.......blah.......blah.....The right wing nuts are the ones telling everyone what to do. Not only telling, but yelling. Of course you cons just call it morals, your version of course, and we all know your version is the correct version.

Dam that's funny.

Casey said...

Excuse me?? Who is yelling? No one but the liberals have been saying that the opposing viewpoint should be "shut down". from what I can see it is the "right wing nuts" that have been the ones to defend YOUR right to speak your opinions. Name calling (ie: rightwing nuts, noecons, etc) are another tactic of the libieral/progressive left.
RayGun, you made no point. You just spouted a party line and tactic.

RayGun said...

The yellers. OLielly, Hannity, LardBall, The PeaBaggers, Town Hall Meeting Idiots, HOTR, the list is long.

Its like the old yellers, as in yellow, as in none of them ever served. Sorry HOTR, if you served.

HOTR is ok, he's just from NY.

hispanicontheright said...

"HOTR is ok, he's just from NY."

Thanks RG....I think. lol

Casey said...

Oh---and Keith Obermann never yells or rants! Believe me, there are plenty of people that yell on the left side of the aisle. However, you did help make my point...seems that you can't make a point without the name calling.

RayGun said...

Sorry Casey, if I called names, it just seems like a no brainer, that any one individual, should not have a monopoly on the media.

Where do you draw the line? I don't know what the current law is on media ownership. But, there are laws on it, and for very good reasons.

And Murdoch gives new evidence on the reasons for the laws and the reason we need to move the limit back.

Casey said...

okay. Now we're TALKING....So much better.
Murdoch does own many media outlets, however there are still more left leaning TV stations than right leaning ones. There is only Fox News. Have you ever really watched Fox News? The news shows are simply news shows and I don't believe that there is much of a slant either way on the news presentations. They do happen to cover some stories that other outlets don't mention, but news is news, and all stations should cover all stories, regardless of the politics.
If you were to actually watch O'Rielly I don't think that he is straight down the line conservative. He varies. Hannity is a straight up Republican. But Glenn Beck is a Libertarian. He criticizes both Dems and Replicans.
More importantly, it is essential that government stays out of the business of monitoring the news. That becomes dangerous territory---no matter what administration is in power! Historically every dictatorship has taken control of the airwaves and media first. Let the free market dictate the news. If people don't like what is presented, then the ratings fall and the shows go away. Do you see my point?

RayGun said...

"Do you see my point? "
--
C, its such a simplistic view point, I don't know how to respond (where do I begin).

ps, I have read 2 books about Olielly written by Congressman Franken. Very funny, and true books (Frankens sources are impeccable).

I wish cons read more...

hispanicontheright said...

"ps, I have read 2 books about Olielly written by Congressman Franken. Very funny, and true books (Frankens sources are impeccable)."

RG, are you serious?!? You've read 2, not 1 but 2 books on O'Reilly?!? Haha. LOL. You can't get enough of the man can you. LOL. I think that subconciously, you love him. lol

Casey said...

You're right, it is pretty simple. It is a simple matter of supply and demand. If there is no demand, the supply dries up. I am not at all comfortable with giving the government the power to oversee how much of, or the content of the media. That is simply unconstitutional. As I said before, if you don't like it, don't watch it.
I for one am not afraid of listening to the other side. I do watch Keith Obermann, Bill Mahr and others. I thank God that I have that right in this country. I wouldn't want any government deciding that there were too many views of either side.
As for reading---I read everything. I read both sides. Instead of reading about O'Rielly, why not actually read something written by O'Rielly? I hear his own sources are impecable. Seriously.
I used to be a liberal/progressive, as I said before. It is only when I began to read both sides that I began to make informed decisions.
I have a sister that is a libieral. She too, quotes O'Reilly, but she does so having never watched him. She always quotes what others say that he said!
I am not a noecon. I am a Libertarian and I am concerned for your rights as well as my own. I would like to insure at we all continue to have the right to say or believe what we want to. I may not agree with your opinions, but I am not afraid of them. I am more afraid of a government that becomes too big and has too much power over our dailey lives. What's next? The thought police?
History can and does repeat itself, and history has shown that the media is attacked first and the content is restricted first in every totalatarian regime. Doesn't that bother you at all?

RayGun said...

Dear God, I proclaim to you hear and now, I can not stand Palin.

RayGun said...

"RG, are you serious?!? You've read 2, not 1 but 2 books on O'Reilly?"

hispanicontheright said...

No one will miss me personally, professionally, etc. Ask BB, about the talent moving to other countries. I can move. I have checked. I can go pretty much go anywhere in the world.

I have a hard time taking it anymore.

My neighbors are piling back from France etc.

I am ready to move there.

hispanicontheright said...

I can honestly say that I have never thought about moving anywhere. Even with the most liberal government we've ever had now currently socializing this country.

RayGun said...

JC HOTR, after w and now Palin, I will move. I am tired of it.

I lived in Alaska for 7 years, for whatever it's worth.

CJP said...

Ray Gun, don't move to France or anywhere else.

Stay here and help make sure that people like Palin never get anywhere near the levers of political power.

Let Palin be a talk show host or a TV entertainer -- like Huckabee. That's where her real talents lie.

Palin has a super-abundance of charm and personality.

We could all love her if she would simply stay out of politics. She's way out of her depth in the political sphere.

hispanicontheright said...

CJP said...

blah.......blah....blah.....
Any thoughts on freedom of speech??

CJP said...

Curbing the power and influence of FOX News and other Right-Wing media would be a wonderful thing, HOTR, and a huge boon to this country. All they are doing is using their media power to influence people like you to vote against your own best interests and in favor of the wealthy power structure which now dominates this country.

For example, they are convincing you to oppose health care reform. Yet, the biggest beneficiaries of the current system are the giant health insurance companies which are raking in huge profits while millions of Americans lack health insurance and those who have plans are losing their coverage when they lose their jobs, or because premiums are skyrocketing, or because pre-existing medical conditions are not covered, or because necessary medical treatments and prescriptions are not covered by current plans. The "death panels" already exist -- and they are making their decisions in the home offices of the insurance companies.

By rights, HOTR, someone in your position should be very much on the side of health care reform and against simply continuing to perpetuate huge profits for insurance companies. Instead, you have bought into FOX News' propaganda and you find yourself supporting the interests of big insurance companies rather than your own best interests.

hispanicontheright said...

Since you choose to ignore the question, I guess you don't believe in freedom of speech.
CJP believes that you should fear speaking your opinions.
CJP believes that if you don't completely agree with him then the government should shut you up.
CJP believes that, similar to Hugo Chavez, the government should control the media.
CJP believes that you should not have freedom of speech.
Liberalism at it's best.

hispanicontheright said...

I just want to add that I give props to RG. At least he admits we shouldn't have free speech. CJP takes the cowards way out and avoids his own comments. CJP, you've obviously read my comments. Don't be such a coward.

Casey said...

So. Fox News should be "shut down" because it offers another point of view. WOW...Aren't we lucky that we have YOU to tell us what is in our "best interest"? Personally I like doing it the old fashioned way. You Know, you listen to all points of view, and then make an informed decision. I wonder if you would feel that same way about government having this control if it were a conservative administration? No. Then you guys start whinning about your "freedom of speech". Oh that's right. Freedom of Speech only applies as long as you agree with it. My Bad.

Casey said...

CJP said: "By rights, HOTR, someone in your position should be very much on the side of health care reform and against simply continuing to perpetuate huge profits for insurance companies."

Why should HOTR be on the side of health care reform? Someone in his "position?" What is his "position?" What might that be?

hispanicontheright said...

Why should HOTR be on the side of health care reform? Someone in his "position?" What is his "position?" What might that be?

Casey, CJP is a lapdog for the dems. He says we should go blindly and accept the health care bill when the dems don't even know what's in it. CJP, name one dem that has read the 1900 page bill. I guess CJP signs contracts all the time without reading them.

CJP said...

HOTR is not a multi-millionaire. He could go broke under today's system if a catastrophic illness hits him or his family.

That's why he should favor health care reform.

Casey said...

Seriously. These people just spout the party line. Do these progressives get a weekly script or something? I hear the same stuff--almost word for word from every progressive I talk to.
The thing that should cause the most concern is the firm belief that opposing views should be shut down! I would love to talk to one that actually bothered to WATCH FoxNews once in a while. But why do that when you can just spew the party line?
I say this because I used to be one of them!
As for the Healthcare bill? WE CAN"T AFFORD IT!

Casey said...

(as for his statement about your position on healthcare and how you should be for it? Hopefully that isn't because you are Hispanic---)That would be just too condesending...

RayGun said...

"I say this because I used to be one of them!"

I used to be one of you, back in RayGuns days. Communism was bad.

What did you dislike about Clinton, the peace or the prosperity?

Why would we want to give Faux News any more viewers? There are whole sites dedicated to debunking what they say. That's where I go for anything related to Faux News. (MediaMatters, etc)

RayGun said...

Oh GD I forgot, you all hate Clinton because of the blow job. Sorry, I forgot.

Casey said...

So basically, you filter your information. Why do you go to anything other than the source? Why not watch it for yourself and draw your own conclusions? Are you afriad that you might find something that you agree with?
Oh, believe me---I long for the days of Clinton, in comparison to what is going on now. Can you honestly compare the 2?
By the way...Communism is bad. It doesn't work. But thanks for showing us where you are REALLY comming from. You aren't liberal, you are progressive, and they aren't the same thing.

This is RG desperately trying to be relevant today. Keep working on it. The law of large numbers says that eventually you'll say something important.

RayGun said...

I know cons don't read much, except the Bible and history books, so I thought a definition of terms you all throw around should be shown.

Why do you want to live in the past.

This may not apply to HOTR, as soon the cons will yank his con card, when they find out he doesn't like guns, or the Bible. Why are cons so fascinated by such extremes? Guns and Bibles. They just don't go together.

hispanicontheright said...

"This may not apply to HOTR, as soon the cons will yank his con card"

Don't worry about that RG. The dems yanked my card a long time ago. They don't have room for an independent think hispanic. As a matter of fact, I'm the democrats worse nightmare. I'm a HISPANIC ON THE RIGHT. LOL. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Casey said...

OMG. Where to begin?
First of all, how do you know that HOTR isn't a multimillionaire? He may very well be one. That IS a CYA answer if I ever heard one.
Your diffinition of Progressive makes you sound like a Libertarian. Not at all. Limitied government??? You are the ones that want to censor the media.
As for reading? I read everything and I do not filter my sources. The key is to read all sides.
Guns and the Bible? Yet another party line. No one here mentioned either one---except you. Heard it before.
Try reading about the Progressive Party. Actually see what they believe. Doesn't match the definition that you provided.
What you are talking about IS NOT limited powers.

Casey said...

Isn't that the thing HOTR? Talk about sterotyping. Because you are hispanic, you are supposed to be a Dem. Same with Afro-Americans---can't be republicans or conservatives! Didn't you know? Minorities are supposed to be on the side of big government and give aways! And there you have the big liberal lie.

RayGun said...

Sorry guys, the commies got to the dictionary looks like.

Even Obama mentioned on the campaign trail, "All they do is cling to their guns and religion", something like that.

Living in the past certainly sounds like lots of cons I know. Always ranting about the founding fathers etc. Don't you all go to the tea parties? Or town hall meetings packing heat? Or even church? Mostly all relating to or based on the past, and as the conservative definition asserts.

Maybe you should break up the party, to get away from the crazies?

hispanicontheright said...

"First of all, how do you know that HOTR isn't a multimillionaire?"

Yeah CJP? What about that? Libs think that the poor widdle minorities need big government. we just can't do it on our own. Libs have a great way of masking the stereotypes.

hispanicontheright said...

RG I'm not ignoring you. I'm just waiting for you to add something to the conversation. lol

Casey said...

Living in the past? Sorry if I would like to see our liberties perserved. I believe that what the founding fathers set up was a great system. I think that is why so many people have risked their lives trying to get here. It probably has done alot for you as well. Show me a better place.
I don't see alot of tea party goers packing guns. You may have had 1 or 2, but that is bound to happen when large numbers gather. But there again, more name calling. You have labeled them all as crazies, when you probably don't even know what they are protesting. I don't think that it is crazy to want smaller government and less spending.

hispanicontheright said...

Yes I want to live in RG's future. One where the government runs everything in my life. One that throws me in jail if I don't buy the government health care policy. Yes!!

RayGun said...

Sorry, you guys are killing me. I have to get some work done. I'll be back in the afternoon or in the evening. Pacific.

Ps, Don't listen to anyone that says I drink in the afternoon or evening as it's just another con lie. lol

hispanicontheright said...

I wish I could remember who said this. Sorry it's on the tip of my tongue. I think that the libs should post this up somewhere they could see it every once in a while. It went something like this:

When the people fear the government, you have tyranny. When the government fears the people, you have liberty.

hispanicontheright said...

See you later RG.

Casey said...

HOTR that is exactly what changed me. The attitude that minorities have to be "taken care of" prevails. The early Progressives were giant racists, but these guys problably don't even know that. They too, were for Big Government and censorship of the media and the stiffling of opposing opinions. They were really very scary people!

Casey said...

yes. see you later. we may not agree, but we enjoy the debate. At least I have.

RayGun said...

I enjoy or debates also Casey, et al, although frustration is sometimes the result.

Do you like guns Casey? We know all cons like guns.

RayGun said...

Hey Casey, the first paragraph out of your idol Palins book:

Thanks Casey. I enjoy being at the table and at the same level with you guys.

RayGun said...
Do you like guns Casey? We know all cons like guns.

This idiot doesn't have a clue.

Casey said...

First of all, Palin is not my "idol". Where did that come from? Second---I am not a guy. I am most definately a female. Third: I don't care one way or another about guns. I don't own one, but I know how to shot one. I am not afraid of them. Not all "cons" love or own guns!

Nice Casey. Way to put the smack down on this jerk. It kills him that cons come in different colors, sexes and don't all own guns.

Casey said...

yes, libs do love to stereo type, don't they? Put a nice little label on everyone and everything in a box.

hispanicontheright said...

RayGun said...
You moron, I told you I own 8 guns. GD you are dumb.

He must be a closet con. LOL

hispanicontheright said...

Correct Casey. DumbGun constantly asked me about my religion and if I owned guns for some reason. The libs love to negate arguments with labels. He suggested I wasn't hispanic because I don't own guns. Racist fool. How's that for a label.

Casey said...

Oh, and he might even think that you have decorated your home with colorful pinatas and own a burro!

Casey said...

Ah oh...did we scare them away?

hispanicontheright said...

Absolutely. Let's not forget CJP who started it all with his racist comments. Liberal racists unite!!!

hispanicontheright said...

I will admit that I don't really think RG is racist. He just blindly follow CJP in whatever he says. I don't think RG can actually think for himself. CJP hates uncivilized hispanics from the south bronx.

hispanicontheright said...

Casey said...
Ah oh...did we scare them away?

Might be burning crosses. lol

Casey said...

But they're so progressive...Aren't we the ones that are always lableled as racists? That always makes me laugh!

hispanicontheright said...

My experience of racism has always come from the libs. If you listen to them long enough they always say what is true in their hearts.

hispanicontheright said...

It's funny. Whenever a lib finds out I'm not a democrat the conversation always leads to "why do you want to be like white people?" They just can't believe that a hispanic can think on his own. They are very close minded.

Casey said...

I can imagine. I have seen it too. There is a very condescending attitude toward minorities.

hispanicontheright said...

I agree. They seem to think that minorities just can't make it without their handouts. How insulting!

Got to go Casey. It was nice chatting with you. I think CJP and RG are just waiting for us to get off. Good night.

Casey said...

Good night.
Hey you guys---you want us to leave? No offense taken. It is a liberal website.

hispanicontheright said...

Had to come back. I knew this CJRacist jerk was just waiting for me to get off.

CJRacist:
What did you mean by this??

"Now, if you live up in the South Bronx (especially near Fort Apache), you may not know what "Civilization" is.

So, try hopping on the subway one day and visit Manhattan. You'll find lots of Civilization in Manhattan"

CJP said...

Casey, someone in your position should be in favor of the health care reform bill, too. This bill is good for the entire country.

The only ones who have a valid reason to oppose it are the insurance companies who may see some of their profits reduced.

CJP said...

HOTR, I meant that, if you think we should just shoot prisoners who have confessed to monstrous crimes, without a trial, then you don't believe in the values of our civilization. It's my response to your nonsensical statement.

The part about the South Bronx and Fort Apache is just a joke -- which anyone who has ever lived in New York is well aware of. It's the reputation of a very tough area. It has nothing to do with anyone's race.

RayGun said...

You're fine Casey. CJP can cut off the HOTR anytime he wants.

But please note in your blogging travels, the difference in extreme language, generally but not always, between right wing nuts and the others.

Speaking of the lying right Faux News, it does seem like a disease with the entire right:

"McCain Campaign Emails Contradict Palin's "Going Rogue""

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/14/mccain-campaign-emails-co_n_358124.html

This round should about finish the woman from AK. I say we need to pile on, as after w, we can't ever again underestimate the stupidity of the voters.

I don't like Bachman either, so I suppose I am a misogynist. Oh wait, I voted for Hillary in the primary, Woooweee, that was a close one.

CJP said...

RG, you probably voted for Eleanor Roosevelt, too --- or, you would have, if she had run for anything.

RayGun said...

I don't know much about Eleanor, I am not a huge history buff.

I did think at the time Hillary was better prepared than Obama. But he learns very fast, so no real regrets on Obama.

RayGun said...

Funny thing about woman cons though, according to this article:

* In 2006, all women combined earned only 77 cents for every dollar earned by men.
* African American women earn only 63 cents on the dollar earned by men.
* Hispanic American women earn only 52 cents on the dollar earned by men.

In 2007 Barack Obama introduced the Fair Pay Restoration Act; it was defeated in the Senate (John McCain did not show up for the vote).

In 2007 the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2007 was introduced. Obama supported the bill, McCain voted no. The Bill has passed the Senate.

It would just be to hard on the poor business's to pay women fairly I guess.

CJP said...

Thank you for the Huffington Post citation, RG. Very good.

CJP said...

And, today, these women cons are fighting so vociferously against health care reform.

You've gotta admit that they're consistent.

RayGun said...

"You've gotta admit that they're consistent."

Yeah, consistently [whats a good word to put here?]

a) Brain Washed
b) Misinformed
c) Dumb
d) All of the above

Regarding c, I am not of the impression that c is valid. In fact I think women should be our leaders and not men. Men have screwed up the world from the beginning. Their day is coming.

Funny though, Palin or Bachman would pick up where w left off and make matters worse. The problem with all 3, they're RayGun wannabees, and trying to outdo RayGun being RayGun.

Maybe we need to let Reagan's philosophy die.

I am not for the Healthcare Bill is mostly because I don't believe that we can afford it. Not now. Taxing the "rich" to pay for it is a silly concept. I think that it was Margret Thatcher that said, "the problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money"
Besides, I can't find a single thing that the government runs that it runs well. Look at all of the money that Madicare looses to scams and theft! Not to mention that it is broke!

Casey said...

Can I ask you guys a question? What is wrong with going back to a more constitutionally correct America? By that, I mean, less government...?

It's funny but CJP admitted he didn't mind that Obama lied on the campaign trail. If that's not all of the above then I don't know what it.

Casey said...

It's simple Casey. Libs don't think the American people are smart enough to take care of themselves. We simply can't live without the governments guidance.

Casey said...

Well, isn't that sad...That is the type of thinking that brought us warning lables on stupid stuff like "don't dive into the pool if it is not filled with water" (on diving boards) or "not to be injested" on things that you would have to be a MORON to actually try to eat! But that is the government mind set---we are all too stupid!
And by the way---what position would that be that would make me be in favor for Public healthcare? I have already said---WE CAN'T AFFORD IT!

Casey said...

I already know that you guys may not like to read things first hand, but read the book "Give Me a Break" by John Stossel to see government at it's finest! Opened my eyes BIGTIME.

Hey, I just found this interesting quote from George Soros: "I am not an advocate of too much regulation. While markets are imperfect, regulators are even more so. Not only are they human, they are also bureaucratic and subject to political influences, therefore regulations should be kept to a minimum". He was talking about the free market here, but doesnt that political/human influence problem also translate to media regulations?
Too much regulation is not a good thing. I thought that I would throw that in since you Left Leaners are such fans of Big George.
Another point to consider: if you regulate the television/radio media, do you also shut down the internet sites that you disagree with? It is, afterall another media outlet. As are books, magazines, newspapers, etc. Where do you draw that line?

This response is a generalization. I'll give you some regulation is good. But Obama wants to change everything. Not only the money grubbing bankers. He wants to change main street where most of us live.

Casey said...

I was refering to the original premise that Fox News and the media should be regulated or "shut down"
As for the free market, some regulation is good, but too much--not so good.
Enough about the big bad corporate "fat cats" you demonize them enough. How about the graft and coruption in government? Who's gonna regulate that? We have coruption all over the place in the government, yet you want to hand everything over to them

Yes, China, France and other countries are worried about what Obama is doing to the country's economy. They have repeatedly warned him about his spending. They know that their economies can only get better when ours gets better.

Casey said...

No HOTR we can just print MORE money!

hispanicontheright said...

Yes, let's just print money and give it to everybody. lol

Then all of us can have worthless money! Whoopie!
