RINOS VS. DINOS

For Republicans, this year's special Congressional election in New York 23 furnished a preview of the internecine Civil War that will RIP* the GOP apart in 2010. Next year's elections will pit the RINOS against the DINOS -- Republicans In Name Only vs. Neanderthal Far-Right Dinosaurs.

If Palin, Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Malkin, FOX News, The Washington Times, Newsmax, etc. can succeed in remaking the Republican Party in their own image, and turn the Party of NOPE into the Party of Dinosaurs, then they will doubtlessly bring about a new Ice Age for the GOP.

RIP, GOP.

*RIP = Rest in Peace.

You mean like Reagan did? His tent wasn't huge, and the vast majority of the country was dying to get into it.

Reagan DID? That sounds like the past tense, Anon. Very Past Tense.

"A DECISION OF CONSCIENCE"
Lone GOP Congressman Who Voted For Health Care Reform Speaks Out

Says it all to me, as sure seems that most cons are unconscionable.

The jackass. Sounds like a con to me. Saying its a matter of conscience, when it's actually unconscionable. Taking and up and saying its down. We know the drill.

This Beck is just one of the darn con rabble rousers. Mighty big beak.

LOL BTW, all grannies will be welcome here. They'll be in awe of our health care.

And word of the grannies great new health care will wind its way back to the US public, at which point they will be labeled traitors and communists by the cons, as they do not support the lifestyle a death panel exec is entitled.

Anon2, are you from Canada?

I got one for you. Democrats lefties VS Bluedogs. How else can you explain the failure of passing health care. Dems own the house, senate and presidency and still can't get it done. Doesn't sound like they're on the same page does it.

Canada eh? Yup and loving it here. :)

PS: My MIL @93 did get an operation last year. Paid for by our health care.

People (usually con supported) on USA TV ads are lying about our health care. Only problem is some waiting time, depending how urgent the case is.

Where did you get that news from? The Bill passed in the House.

At least the Democrats are more open minded than the Cons.

The Cons ran even a Republican out of an election lately because she wasn't "right" enough. They're a narrow minded crazy-eyed herd.

Anon2, my mother, I think she's 72, had open heart surgery less than a year ago and Medicare worked perfectly for her. With an extra supplemental policy she had purchased, her out of pocket was close to 0, and the entire bill was close to 80k. The cons watch to much TV over here, and are brainwashed.

Took 5 months to pass the house. WOW!!! Now that's progress. lol Reid can't even get it on the floor!!

Great. That's just what we want here. lol. No wonder Canadians come here for care. Are there any Americans that go to Canada for health care? NO!!

That's because one must present a Canadian health card for treatment. Suppose Canada doesn't distribute free health cards to Americans eh? LOL

I doubt Americans would try anyway.

I wish we would check an ID for real Americans instead of giving health care to illegals.

I would try in a second Anon2 as I have double insurance and they both suck. I'm lucky, if combined, they will pay even 80 percent of my bill. They fight me and each other for every nickel. They pay doctors then take back the payment, on and on. They both suck.

Canadians are nice. I have been to Canada 20 times maybe. And they have some of the best looking women in the world, especially BC.

No and sorry, wouldn't want to. We were in Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and Naples, Florida. That was enough for us. Prefer the Caribbean anytime.

Anon2, If Sarah ever gets elected, we are out of here (US). I Really like Canada except for the cold (7 years in Alaska, was enough), so probably would move to New Zealand. We are in like Flint in NZ, I've checked. Canada would be nice as I could afford lots of land I suspect. Since I work from home and home anywhere in the world really makes no difference to me, Canada is still a consideration. I just hope you all don't hate us as bad as we deserve.

RayGun said...

Anon2, if you want to pay extra (buy additional health care), you can get extra premium care in Canada, correct?

hispanicontheright said...

"In addition to what I said previously: why are so many USA seniors coming to Canada for cheaper drugs?"

So what?? I can buy anything cheaper anywhere outside of the USA. Because Canada gets cheaper drugs we should destroy our healthcare?? That's stupid!! Dems don't want cheaper drugs anyway. They voted down plan to cut drug costs in September. Of course the liberal media won't tell you that.

"I just hope you all don't hate us as bad as we deserve."

Awww Raygun. Libs always apologizing for us.

One gets basic health care, visits to doctors, operations, hospitals (ward).

If one wishes more than basic health care, one can get private insurance, usually through their employer. Depending on the plan you pick, it covers extended health care, private/semi private rooms in hospital, copays for meds, dental coverage and a host of other stuff.

Each province has its own system but the basic system coverage is the same in all of them.

Yeah....all you have to do is wait for care.

I was talking about cheaper drugs in Canada.

You mean somewhere in Latin America? I wouldn't trust the quality of drugs there.

Dubya signed an agreement that the government cannot bargain with Pharma for cheaper drugs. (Google about it if you didn't know about this) That's why your seniors are paying so much more for drugs than we, young and old, in Canada are. Dubya couldn't make it clearer who/what his priorities were eh?

HOTR, how many Canadians or Britishers come to the USA for medical treatment? Few, if any.

Most of them flee back home to deal with their medical problems in their own countries so they don't go bankrupt by receiving medical treatment here in the USA.
