Don't you understand, the USA already TOOK control without asking the "host" countries because they were invaded. Except for Germany & Japan, all others were not necessary wars.
First these countries were destroyed by the USA. Then the USA "rebuilds" these countries and take economic control by establishing their businesses there.

I do not agree with any war, torturers, fascists, nazi's, commies, rightwing dictators who were installed by the USA (i.e. Pinochet Chile) in many Latin America countries, mostly by overthrowing elected governments there. Many atrocities and corruptions are being carried out in those countries where the USA installed a puppet government.

I served 10 years in the USAF. The only reason I didn't go to Desert Storm was I was in an Artic Unit.
You could say Desert Storm was a just war, but you really have to wonder if we would of bothered, if oil was not involved. I doubt it.
And yes, I have a very comfy life, and am not greedy. Guess I wish I had a thousand acres, but other than that, I really have enough.

I think that the world was concerned that Saddam was going to expand his "empire" and as a result, he would hold a good portion of the world's oil product, and that he would continue to expand into other countries. I believe that he had that in mind at the time

Well, Casey, it is a fact that Dubya Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was one of Hitler's biggest financial backers. He apparently continued his dealings with the Nazis through 1951, when he received $1,500,000 from the dissolution of a Nazi bank in which he was a partner.
Prescott Bush helped finance Hitler's rise to power in the 1920's and 30's and continued his business dealings with the Nazis through 1942, even after the US had entered the war following Pearl Harbor. Then he continued his business deealings with escaped Nazi war criminals after World War II, right on through 1951.
I'm not saying that Dubya Bush or his father, Bush the First, were Nazis. But Dubya's grandfather, Senator Prescott Bush, certainly was one of Hitler's greatest allies in the USA.

I do disagree with you on the family history thing. Most people maybe didn't want to put Jews in ovens, but, here's an example: In beautiful Paradise Valley, Arizona there is a very well known country club/resort that was closed to Jewish members until the mid 1970s.

My objection to the post is that it was presented with what I feel was the inferrence that because W's grandfather may have done business with the Nazi govt, that it is another sin that you can hang on George W.
