Madoff Men

Bernie Madoff Made Off with $50 billion of Other Peoples' Money. Similarly, the top 2% of America used to be Self-Made Men. Today, however, they are more like Made-Off Men. They have Made Off with trillions of dollars of Other Peoples' Money. Although the Top 2% own a vast portion of America's wealth, they can't seem to enjoy their riches unless they inflict huge economic hardship on most other Americans -- through low wages, poor education, inadequate health care, crumbling national infra-structure, etc. The Top 2% are now yelling and screaming at the thought that they may have to pay slightly higher taxes in order to correct some of these economic imbalances. They have flooded our airwaves with an army of screaming banshees to propagandize our citizens into supporting political policies which perpetuate the inordinate wealth of the Top 2% and keep everyone else behind the Eight Ball. Are the Top 2% the only ones who have created America's wealth? And, the other 98% had nothing to do with it? Is that a fact?

Redistribution of Wealth

As soon as George Bush and the Republicans took office in 2001, they passed new income tax and estate laws which resulted in a massive redistribution of wealth to the top 2% of Americans, who generally travel on the Right side of the Ship of State. This gigantic shift of wealth to the Right side of the boat created such a monumental imbalance that it nearly caused the entire Ship of State to capsize. Indeed, this week's revised economic reports state that, during the 4th Quarter of 2008 (George Bush's final three months in office), the American economy was in virtual free-fall. Today, President Obama's challenge is to redistribute America's wealth and spread its weight more evenly all around the boat so the Ship of State can resume sailing smoothly and calmly in a forward direction. The GOP crew, having been displaced by the voters, has now manned battle stations in the guise of pirates and buccaneers. The sole remaining mission of this new breed of privateers is to sink the Ship of State and send the USS Titanic, and its 300 million passengers, hurtling down beneath the billowy waters into the oblivion of Davey Jones' Locker. "Heave-Ho, Me Hearties" -- the new watchword of America's Pirates of the Right led by Long John Limbaugh. To be clear, Obama is not engaging in a Redistribution of Wealth. He is Reversing the Redistribution of Wealth engineered over the past 8 years by Bush and his confederates which nearly sank the American ship.

Moments after President Obama signed an executive order on January 23, mandating that the prison at Guantánamo Bay be closed within a year, retired Maj. Gen. John Eaton, an Iraq veteran, declared that torture was the tool of "the lazy, the stupid, and the pseudo-tough. It's also perhaps the greatest recruiting tool that the terrorists have."

Republican Guerilla Warfare

How disgusting Republicans are. Here, the Senate has finally approved giving the District of Columbia representation in Congress, yet it must be at the price of removing most of the District's gun control regulations, thereby potentially increasing the murders and violence in DC. It's as though the GOP, having been soundly trounced in the 2008 election, is now engaged in a campaign of guerilla warfare against the American people. The Republicans are applying political "scorched earth" policies against the USA.

Obama vs. Jindal in 2012

Obama's speech last night to Congress was masterful. Barack was at the top of his game. Bobby Jindal's response sounded like a schoolboy sent out to do a man's job. I hope that the GOP, in its infinite wisdom, selects either Bobby Jindal or Sarah Palin to head its ticket and run for president against Obama in 2012. Obama will then make history once again, in 2012, by the gigantic margin of his re-election landslide.

Alan Colmes Interviews William Ayres

Not only is Alan Colmes right in interviewing Bill Ayres. More than that. Bill Ayres proposed doing a regular TV Talk Show with Sarah Palin called "Pallin' Around With Sarah and Bill". That's a great idea. What a perfect venue that could be for a frank exchange of Liberal vs. Conservative ideas. I hope a major news network picks it up. Sarah and Bill might become the Hannity and Colmes of the New Millenium.

FDR, Obama, Jindal and Palin

In 1932, FDR defeated Hoover by a pretty comfortable margin. At that time, FDR was brand new to the national scene and people had no idea of what kind of president he would be. Once Americans had a chance to see Roosevelt in action, through his First Hundred Days, and then his First Four Years, FDR was re-elected in 1936 by what was then the greatest landslide in American history. Obama is following the same trajectory. As in Roosevelt's time, people are now seeing what a great president we have in the White House, and what Beavis and Buttheads the Republicans are. Following the FDR path, Obama won comfortably in 2008, and he will be re-elected in 2012 with an overwhelming rout of the GOP. If last night's national roll-out of Bobby Jindal is any indicator, the Republicans are planning to the throw the 2012 election. If either Bobby Jindal or Sarah Palin is the GOP standard-bearer in 2012, Obama's re-election victory margin in 2012 will be even greater than FDR's was in 1936.

Restoring Our Faith

It was the Right-Wing "Conservative" "Faith-Based" crowd that destroyed Americans' faith in government. So, isn't it fitting that the liberal "Fact-Based" folks are the ones who are restoring our faith in our government?

Why Obama Won

In his first speech to Congress, Obama showed not only why he won, but also why he is already a great president. We measure FDR's incredible accomplishments in terms of his First Hundred Days. Where is Obama now -- at his 35th day -- barely one third of the way through his own First Hundred. Look at how much landmark legislation Obama has already achieved. Of course, his programs will work. He is spending, priming the pump, pouring money into the system so that our economy can once again begin to function full steam ahead. That should start to happen before the end of this year. Thereafter, a robust, healthy economy should have no problem in shrinking our deficits and eventually returning the USA to a budget surplus, similar to the one that our last Democratic president, Bill Clinton, left us.

Obama's Wish List

Obama will get his Wish List (all of it, I hope -- including finding a cure for cancer) -- and America will be a stronger and better country because of it. Isn't it perfectly clear that, if Obama engages in huge deficit spending now, and these spending programs revive and strengthen the U. S. economy so that the USA once again becomes the world's most powerful economic force, we will then have no problem in balancing the budget, reducing our current massive deficits, and ultimately re-creating the kind of budget surplus that our last Democratic president, Bill Clinton, left us? Conservative Right-Wing economic policies have virtually wrecked our country. It's high time for Democrats to step in and once again bring us back from the brink of Far Right Voodoo economic destruction.

We've all heard that Bill and Hillary Clinton killed Vince Foster and had his body dumped in a Washington, DC park; that John Kerry faked his Vietnam War medals; and that Max Cleland fought side by side with Osama Bin Laden. It's heartening to see that the Republican Galloping Horsemen of Dupliicity now have a new bucket of horse manure with which to try to dupe Americans -- Obama's Fake Birth Certificate. The Far Right Confederacy shall rise again. Aryan Nations Awake. The sequel to "The Birth Of A Nation" has become "The Birth of a Certificate".

At Least, Democrats Know Where The Enemy Is Located

Who said the Democrats are the Peace Party? Didn't the Democrats lead us successfully through World Wars I and II? The Republicans are the Gang that Can't Shoot Straight. Obama's Birth Certificate in Hawaii

In October 2008, before the presidential election, the Director of Hawaii's Department of Health, Dr. Chimoye Fukino, went to personally inspect Obama's original birth certificate.

Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, had personally verified that the Hawaii health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.

"Therefore, I as Director for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures," Fukino said.

Fukino said that no state official, including Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama's certificate be handled differently from any other.

In addition, an announcement appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser on August 13, 1961 announcing the birth to Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama on August 4, 1961 of Barack Obama, Jr.

But, hey, what are facts to the "Faith-Based" Republican Flat-Earth Society?

Now they have even taken to posting fake copies of Obama's Hawaiian Birth Certificate on the Internet with "Place of Birth" changed from "Honolulu" to "Mumbasa, Kenya". No wonder Republicans have totally lost the trust of the American people.

Today's rise of 236 points in the Dow Jones average, and especially of 11.8% in the S&P Financial Sector, indicates that investors have confidence that Obama's policies are on the right track and will lead our country to a healthy economic recovery, in spite of and regardless of all the caterwauling Conservative Nabobs of Negativism.

Name One Bush Economic Policy That Caused the Housing Market Collapse

1. Bush slashed Section 8 Housing Vouchers which provide rental assistance to low income families while easing restrictions on mortgage loans. These Bush changes encouraged people who should have been renters to become buyers.

2. The president spent years pushing Congress to toughen regulation of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, but was unwilling to compromise when his former Treasury Secretary wanted to cut a deal. And the regulator Mr. Bush chose to oversee them -- an old prep school buddy -- said that Freddy and Fannie were sound even as they headed towards insolvency.

3. Bush also supported a rise in adjustable rate mortgages instead of fixed rate mortgages, which helped fuel the housing crisis.

You can explain lots of things, Tom. Unfortunately, we've tried your Right-Wing Reaganomics for the past 8 years, and it's almost bankrupted the entire country. Senator Richard Shelby and Obama's Birth Certificate

Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama said today that he hasn't seen President Obama's birth certificate, so he can't verify whether Obama was really born in Hawaii or in Kenya. Well, I haven't seen Senator Shelby's birth certificate -- so I can't verify whether Senator Shelby's parents were married when he was born.

Still, it is not Shelby's official position, which is what he sent out to people who asked, and which reads:

objection was raised during the meeting. By-all accounts,

I think the entire "controversy" about Obama's birth certificate is a ridiculous political red herring.

I apologize if I've said anything negative about Senator Shelby. It was only in the context of responding to an absurd issue which should never have been raised and still shows no signs of going away. I'm sorry that Senator Shelby was misquoted by the press.

We've Only Just Begun

Hopefully, Obama's Stimulus Package is only the beginning. Needing those 3 Republican Senators to get any legislation passed at all, Obama was forced to compromise and he had to settle for what he could get. I'm sure that Obama himself recognizes that even more spending may be necessary to jump-start this economy. He will go back to Congress to get any more legislation he needs. But, at least, he was able to come away with something in his first three weeks and I'm sure that the legislation which has already passed will soon start the USA on the road to recovery.

Recently, I started a Political Blog of my own, which I call "Conservatives Are America's Real Terrorists." Naturally, I would like your participants to become aware of my site. I've made many postings on my Blog over the past few months, some of which your readers may find helpful in responding to Right-Wing media propaganda and misinformation. I couldn't possibly post all of these comments on your site.

But is there a problem in my trying to let your readers know about my site and inviting them to see if some of the comments on my site might be helpful to them in reinforcing their own political ideas? After all, we are in basic agreement on just about everything. The Fairness Doctrine

During World War II, for some reason, the broadcasts of Axis Sally and Tokyo Rose were not heard in the United States. Yet, today, Talk Radio nationwide carries the daily broadcasts of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Monica Crowley, Michael Savage and other Far Right ranting kooks whose main goal is to destroy the current American government. This is the equivalent of filling our airwaves every day with the anti-American propaganda of Tokyo Rose and Axis Sally. The Fairness Doctrine aims to get some other voices on the radio to balance this insidious daIly barrage of anti-American diatribes. Naturally, the Far Right is violently opposed to the Fairness Doctrine. In effect, Right Wing Kooks are saying that we must keep all of our Axis Sallys and Tokyo Roses on the air and not allow any pro-American broadcasters on the radio to counter-balance them. Did I neglect to mention Lord Haw Haw? The Right-Wing has quite a few of its own Lord Haw Haws currently broadcasting for our daily listening pleasure.

Obama Will Cut America's Deficit In Half

Obama is totally on the right track. His programs and policies will put America back on top again. His plan to cut America's deficit in half over the next 4 years is exactly what needs to be done. If Republicans get out of the way and let Obama do his thing, the USA will once again become the leader of the free world. Of course, there are plenty of Right-Wing kooks still roaming around, like screaming banshees, as one can hear every day on Far Right Talk Radio programs. These bad fools, who have spent the past eight years destroying our country, need to be disregarded. They have made themselves irrelevant. Most Americans now realize how poisonous and destructive are these Far Right Looney-Tunes.

Public Enemy Number One

Republicans have become a Right-Wing Taliban domestic Insurgency. They are our worst nightmare and America's most dangerous enemy. Over the past eight years, Republicans and their insane ideology have wrecked the U.S. economy and now they are waging shrill guerilla warfare against the current administration's efforts to save us. The Republicans in Congress are now America's Quislings, Trojan Horse, Fifth Columnists, and Public Enemy Number One. We may survive the current crisis, but it will have to be over the dead body of the Republican Party.

Over The Cliff

Republicans have spent 8 years creating this financial crisis. How nice to hear them screaming about it now. Conservative monetary policies have sent the US economy over the cliff. It's high time to try a new approach. Saving America's banks and getting credit flowing again are the first steps. Thank goodness we have a president like Obama who is working for the entire country, not just for a few Republican fat cats.

Bernie Sanders is "America's Senator." He is the only Senator who truly represents all the people of this country. Considering how many disasters have suddenly emerged from the worlds of banking, finance, and business, President Obama may deliberately be trying to avoid having any CEO's of those corporations anywhere near him. It's not that Obama's Cabinet is a CEO Black Hole. CEO's themselves have become a Black Hole. Where is the Talent Pool that used to be?

Republicans should be seeing White Flags -- of Surrender. As a party, they are finished. This is their Battle of the Alamo and they are about to be wiped out. They are led by General Custer, and Sitting Bull is demolishing them. We're now witnessing the Grand Old Party's Last Stand. After all, their Commanding General now is Rush Limbaugh. How utterly pitiful. They'd have a much better chance if their Commanding General was Jubilation T. Cornpone.

Obama should enlist Bristol Palin as his leading spokesperson against Abstinence-Only programs. Who could possibly be a more effective speaker than Bristol Palin on this topic?

If Ann Coulter didn't engage in gay-bashing, she wouldn't have much left to say: "Chris Mathews wants to have sex with Obama"; "John Edwards is a faggot", etc. We realize Ann Coulter is a psycho who should be locked up in a mental institution. Rush Limbaugh and his Rat-Pack of Right-Wing Media Hyenas are now fulminating about Obama's new Foreclosure Assistance Bill which they say will help the "Losers" in our society. Homeowners who are now in default on their mortgages are America's "Losers", and do not deserve any assistance from taxpayers. This is Rush's idea of Dog-Eat-Dog, Winner-Take-All, Losers-Be- Damned Capitalism. The fact that Rush's plan would fill our streets and shelters with thousands more homeless families, and leave banks holding empty worthless homes with no payments being made to the banks at all doesn't seem to matter. Rush has an Ayn Rand "Fountainhead" ideology to defend, and he will defend that Far Right Extremist ideology to America's last dying breath. Well, in case Rush hasn't noticed, "Losers" are what the Republicans were in 2006 and, even more so, in 2008. By 2010 and 2012, Obama and the Democrats will own the Stimulus Bill and the Homeowners Assistance Bill, both of which will probably have proven very successful by then. The Republicans will own the title of Obstructionist Destructionists, in light of their fierce opposition to these recovery programs. And, by that time, the GOP and the Right-Wing will be the biggest Losers of all. If you think Republicans are Losers today, wait until 2012 -- "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet."

Right-Wing Wrecking Crew

The Stimulus Plan is a great plan for America and will save our economy from the brink of destruction. Obama's new plan to bail out homeowners is also outstanding and is very necessary. Yet Right-Wing Talk Radio keeps railing against Obama's programs and the GOP in Congress has been virtually unanimous in its opposition. Conservatives have not only wrecked our country during the past 8 years when they were in power, but they are doing their best to stop anyone from rescuing our economy and doing all they can to perpetuate the wreckage.

When Rush Limbaugh talks about American "Achievers", he is talking about himself. Rush is now worth over $400,000,000, and one of his primary goals is to keep his taxes on his own personal fortune as low as possible. And, how much is each of Rush's "Dittoheads" worth? Rush LImbaugh is predicting that Obama's plan will fail, and hoping that it will fail. If America is wiped out, Limbaugh couldn't care less. He's made his millions and he'll be crying all the way to the bank. However, the fact is that Obama's package -- with its all of its stimulus spending -- will succeed. When it does, Limbaugh and all the Conservative Obstructionists will have lost their credibility. The success of Obama's program could very well spell the doom of the Republican Party.

History Is Repeating Itself Again

Two hundred years ago, John Adams was elected president on The Federalist Party and, a few years later, his son, John Quincy Adams, was also elected president -- and then, a few years after that -- that was the end of The Federalist Party. Now, two hundred years later, another father and son team, Pappy and Junior Bush, have apparently finished off the Republican Party.

Rahm Emanuel In Charge of the Census

It's great to see Rahm Emanuel being placed in charge of the census. Maybe he can undo some of the damage Tom DeLay did the last time around. Clearly, DeLay's gerrymandering currently has Republicans and Conservatives grossly over-represented in the Congress. Rahm will surely correct this imbalance and bring the Republicans down to the correct number of votes they deserve to have -- a much lower number than they have today.

A Black or White Issue

America is still crawling with white racists, many of whom you can read posting on those very fine Conservative Web-sites. However, it is also true that in 2008 millions of whites and blacks joined together to deliver Obama into the White House. That was no small achievement. I guess that showed how dreadfully horrific Bush was -- that he could actually unite America to put a black man into the White House. Even so, I think there are now millions of whites and blacks who see that their futures are joined together -- that government of, by, and for the fat cats crushes everyone who is below the top rung, regardless of whether they happen to be black or white.

Cuomo vs. Paterson for Governor of New York

Andrew Cuomo would make a terrific candidate and a great governor. Hopefully, he will run against Governor Paterson in 2010, and Andy should easily win the governorship. Paterson made a huge mistake by not appointing Cuomo as New York's Senator after Caroline Kennedy had dropped out. Such an excellent appointment would have won the respect of the entire state -- for both Paterson and Cuomo. Now, by appointing a second-stringer to the New York Senate seat, Paterson's statewide approval rating is dropping like a rock.

Congratulations, Mr. President. You have won a huge victory in your
first three weeks in office -- the swift passage of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act.

I hope this is only a first step. There is a gigantic amount of work

Obama's Defeat?

In his first three weeks in office, President Obama has passed the largest Stimulus and Economic Recovery Bill in American history. Yet, many in the media and the Conservative punditocracy continue to label this achievement a legislative defeat for Obama. Senator Judd Gregg's greatest accomplishment in withdrawing his nomination was in showing the country that the Secretary of Commerce and the Supervisor of the Census must be a Democrat who truly believes in, and will help bring about, the kind of change and reform that Obama stands for.

President Obama's Bully Pulpit Can Trump the Beltway Press

Rush and Stalinist Homeowner Evictions

Today Rush had another hissy-fit because JP Morgan Chase Bank announced that it was suspending foreclosures for a month, allowing debtor homeowners to stay in their homes for 30 more days, pending the reults of Obama's Stimulus Package. This news brought on another psycho-rant from Rush, likening our current situation to Stalinist Russia, saying that the bank was suspending foreclosures for a month because it had such great fear of the new Obama "Stalinist" administration. What is this maniac Rush saying now -- that Stalinist Russia was better than the USA -- that in Stalinist Russia debtor homeowners were not evicted and thrown into the street but that here in America that is the proper American way? I wonder how many Dittoheads are in debt and in danger of being foreclosed upon. They must love hearing their champion spewing his vitriolic bile on them.

Conservatives Against Capitalism

Right-Wing Conservatives, whose basic economic principle is the redistribution of more wealth to the wealthiest and take it all away from everybody else, have practically destroyed Capitalism. Now they have the nerve to try to label the people who are trying to save Capitalism as "Socialists". Socialism would never even have existed if these extreme Right-Wing laissez faire theories did not wreck Capitalism every few years.

Conservatives Have Infuriated America

Americans are furious about the Right-Wing "Conservative" economic ideology that has gotten us into this mess over the past eight years, and about the Republicans' current "bipartisanship" where exactly three Republican Members of Congress voted for the Stimulus Package which has the support of nearly 70% of the American people. You're darn right Americans are angry, and with every good reason.

With only three Republicans in Congress voting for Obama's Stimulus Package, and nearly 70% of Americans supporting the plan,
Republicans continue to dig themselves deeper and deeper into their Limbaugh Hole. What a perfect name for the leader of the Republican Party -- Limbaugh. Remember the old Limbo Dance -- "How Low Can You Go?" How Low can the Republican Party Go? Limbaugh continues to lead the GOP further and further into a perpetual state of Limbo.

Judd Gregg's Withdrawal

Secretary of Commerce should probably be a Democrat. It's easier to find bipartisan agreement in areas like Defense than in areas such as Commerce or the census. Anyway, with only three Republicans in the US Congress having voted for the Stimulus Package, Obama isn't finding much bipartisanship from Republicans. Barack will have to settle for the fact that nearly 70% of Americans support his policies.

Rush Does Not Choose To Run

Rush Limbaugh said today that he would never run for public office. A wise decison. Rush knows that, if he did run for office, he would be slaughtered. He would be just another Right-Wing Fringe Nut going down in flames. Too bad. The American people should be able to show at the polls their contempt and disgust for Limbaugh and everything he stands for.

Rush Throws a Tantrum

Today, Rush Limbaugh had an apoplectic fit on the air when a caller had the nerve to suggest that the CEO's of auto companies showed poor judgment when they flew to Washington in their private jets to ask Congress for billions in taxpayer bailout money. Rush was screaming at the poor caller: "It's none of your business if these executives have private jets. That's what I hate about you liberals -- sticking your nose into other peoples' affairs." Rush made a fierce, impassioned defense of these executives and their private jets.

On the other hand, when a woman on welfare living with her family in a car told President Obama that her family would like to have their own kitchen and bathroom -- and a college kid working part-time at McDonald's for 4-1/2 years said he would like to receive more "benefits" -- these folks got nothing but derision and ridicule from Rush. How dare they ask for more? Limbaugh sounded exactly like Charles Dickens' 19th century Mr. Beadle talking to Oliver Twist.

Clearly, LImbaugh is a champion of the super-rich in our society, including himself. He believes in padding his own pocketbook at the expense of the rest of the country. His Dittohead listeners, most of whom are probably working stiffs, are being led down the garden path every day by Rush and the policies he advocates. His thoughts are only with the fat cats, and with lining his own bank account over the prostate bodies of his radio audience.

Every day, Rush misleads his listeners into believing they have a chance to live the American Dream while persuading them to support policies that stack the deck against them and make it wholly impossible for them ever to get out of the ditch. His leading the opposition to Obama's Stimulus Plan is a prime example. Of course, Rush wants it to fail. His main goal is to make certain that his taxes are not raised on the fortune he is earning by guiding the American people towards self-destruction.

"Welfare Queens"

For Rush Limbaugh and other Right-Wing Media hyenas to rail against "Welfare Queens" will not work very well this time around since the moribund economic policies that these "thinkers" advocate are threatening to turn millions of more Americans into welfare queens.

The Republican Party's Flag Draped Coffin

Enacting the stimulus package is only the beginning of Obama's political victories. If this stimulus package works and it indeed helps revive our wounded economy, then the fact that this legislation was almost unanimously opposed by every Republican in Congress should be forever emblazoned in the minds of all Americans. The numbers -- Senate - 3; House - 0 -- should be sewn into a flag to be draped around the coffin of the Republican Party as it is lowered into the ground for eternal burial.

Rush's Millions

Rush Limbaugh has earned millions by trashing the poor and the middle class, and by persuading his listeners to vote against their own economic interests. His real victims are his Dittoheads who are gullible enough to believe Rush's lies and continue to vote for candidates and programs that impoverish themselves and enrich Rush. He persuades them to vote against unions, against raising minimum wages, for tax cuts for the super-rich (like Rush), against government financial rescue plans, health benefits, etc. Rush is a Snake Oil Salesman and a three-card monte hustler of the airwaves. If the USA goes down, it's in good part because Rush will have convinced so many of his hapless listeners to support policies that are destroying this country and their own futures.

60+ in 2010

Republicans seem determined to disappear as a political party. They have learned nothing from their defeats in 2006 and 2008. Now, by opposing Obama's Stimulus Bill, and watering-it down by eliminating key spending provisions and inserting ineffectual tax cuts, Conservatives are showing once again how Un-American they are. Rush Limbaugh wants America to fail. Congressional Republicans are making that happen. Hopefully, by 2010, Democrats will have won the 60+ votes they need to govern this country in the best interests of all the people, not simply the billionaires.

Vanishing Species

Now, the Right-Wing Media Hyenas are ranting and screaming about two of the questioners at Obama's Town Hall meeting in Fort Myers yesterday -- the college student who's been working part-time for McDonald's over the past 4-1/2 years because he wants more "benefits" ("What's wrong with him?"); and the homeless woman who is now living with her family in a car and would like to have her own bathroom and kitchen ("How nervy of her!"). On the other hand, when Obama proposes salary caps of $500,000 per year on bank executives whose banks have been bailed out by US taxpayers, why such salary limits would be "Socialism". Right? With attitudes like these, it's no wonder that Republicans and Conservatives are a Vanishing Species.

Republicans -- The Party of Obstruction and Destruction

The Right-Wing Media Hyenas are ranting and screaming in their all-out campaign to destroy Obama's Economic Recovery Plan. Their attacks have been particularly shameless against the two main questioners at Obama's Town Hall meeting yesterday in Florida -- the young student who has been a part-time employee of McDonald's for the past 4-1/2 years, and the lady whose family is now homeless and sleeping in a car. Republicans have truly become The Party of Obstruction and Destruction. That's all they have left to offer.

The Bush Economy

From Day One, Bush was only interested in reducing income tax rates on the wealthiest Americans, eliminating estate taxes, cutting the effective operations of government, and placing huge additional tax and financial burdens on the vast majority of Americans. His senseless Iraq War has also placed a huge additional financial burden on our citizens. The result has been a crushing economic burden on most Americans which has wrecked the middle class and crippled the consumer, who had been the main economic engine of our country.

ACORN and High-Risk Loans

Darwin: ACORN registers people and helps get out the vote. ACORN is not a bank and has nothing to do with making high-risk loans to home buyers or to anyone else. Get your facts straight. The great thing about you Conservatives is that you are never challenged by the facts.

Darwinian Capitalism

Communism and Socialism would never even have existed as concepts if unrestrained, unregulated Capitalism in the 19th Century had not produced a succession of Booms, Busts and Depressions. It was called Darwinian Capitalism -- the economic Survival of the Fittest. Over the past 8 years, the Right-Wing Conservatives who have run this country into the ground, in their unbridled greed and incompetence, have returned us to the 19th century and to Darwinian Capitalism. These are the people who are wrecking capitalism, not the mythical, non-existent "Socialists" they keep ranting about.

Conservatives Are Communists

Conservatism and Communism are peas from the same pod. Both have fancy, air-headed economic theories. Both result in a concentration of wealth in the hands of the few people at the top, with crumbs going to everybody else. Communism bankrupted the USSR. Now, the bankrupt ideas of Conservatism have virtually bankrupted the USA.

Republican Economics

The Republican Party stands for one thing -- huge tax breaks for millionaires, and crumbs for everybody else. That doesn't build a strong economy. That builds Depressions -- the Republican gift that keeps on giving.

Conservatives, whose economic policies based on unlimited greed and brain-dead incompetence have practically destroyed America over the past eight years, have now re-grouped like a pack of insurgent Taliban jackals to block President Obama or anyone else from trying to save our country. Rush Limbaugh should run for president -- so he can be destroyed by the voters and an end can be put to Rush's insane right-wing rants. His wacko policies have virtually destroyed the U.S. economy, and now Rush is trying to put the final nails into America's coffin. Let him run for office, so the voters can repudiate this moron.
