Tea Party Tea Baggers Showed Their True Colors Yesterday

Anti Health Care Reform Protesters Get Rowdy, Racist

March 21st, 2010

Everybody Has a Right to Protest.

Shouting (the N-word!) to — and spitting on — Black elected officials because you disagree with their politics is unacceptable, downright racist, un-American and, as some Tea Partiers found out, illegal.

Yesterday, Tea Party and other anti-health care protesters crossed the line outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington.

As Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and three Black staffers walked out of the Cannon Building at the U.S. Capitol, a group of demonstrators closed in on them and shouted the n-word. Another protester spat on another Black lawmaker, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.)

Capitol police pushed back the unruly group of protesters that assaulted Lewis and arrested the man who spat on Cleaver.

“It was absolutely shocking to me,” said House Majority Whip James Clyburn. “I heard people saying things today I had not heard since March 15, 1960, when I was marching to try to get off the back of the bus.”

Another angry group lobbed another favorite that begins with “F” at Rep. Barney Frank (D-Ma.)

All around the Capitol grounds and nearby in Washington’s Union Station yesterday, it was common to see protesters walking around holding signs with clearly racist words and images.

Cleaver’s office released a statement shortly after the incident. “The Congressman would like to thank the US Capitol Police officer who quickly escorted the other Members and him into the Capitol, and defused the tense situation with professionalism and care,” it read. “After all the Members were safe, a full report was taken and the matter was handled by the US Capitol Police. The man who spat on the Congressman was arrested, but the Congressman has chosen not to press charges. He has left the matter with the Capitol Police.”

The House passes the health care bill. Oh it's a dark day in con land. Their beloved insurance companies will no longer be allowed to rip off their own clients by denying claims. Oh woe are the beleaguered cons. The lobbyists convinced the simple cons the world would come to an end, but thank God that was not enough.

"Instead, the government will expand a direct lending program, a step that the Congressional Budget Office said would save taxpayers $61 billion over 10 years, and use the money to increase Pell grants for students."

"Private banks lobbied against the student loan changes, which eliminate a long-flowing source of revenue for them. "

Student Loan Bill Poised to Pass in Health Vote

Another blow to the cons beloved bankers. Cons sure love wasting money. Banking fees and insurance duties the government can do better and we the tax payers reap the benefits. But cons are just to dumb to see it I suppose.

Show me 1 instance of the government "doing better". Medicare=broke, Social Security=broke, Post Office=broke. Veterans hospitals=broke & in disrepair, Amtrack=broke, Fannie/Freddie=bigtime broke.
I wouldn't mind the government doing these things, but the track record isn't good. Never mind making a profit, I would just like to see them do something without it always being in the red. What tells you that this will be any different?

RayGun said...

"I would just like to see them do something without it always being in the red."

JHC, more con logic. Well, why doesn't the government just raise rates, for stamps, for SS, etc, by 30 percent like your beloved insurance companies are doing to peoples health insurance rates?

The medical insurance companies have shown the true incompetence through our spiraling health care costs.

Nothing surprises me about the CONS/Repugs/Teabaggers since they're all the same.

We all heard the words: "baby killer" coming from a Con House Rep while a Dem Anti-Abortionist was talking.

The above so called "MORAL" "RELIGIOUS" herd stops as nothing and stoop so low that they're the laughing stock of the world.

Hypocrites!!

Protect the baby while in the womb but as soon as it is born, the Cons then consider them all of a sudden not human beings by denying health care.

Health care has to be prenatal and neonatal until death do us part.

Ridiculous twisted herd.

There charges are opposite from the real world's A2. Where we have positive electrons influencing us, they have negative electrons influencing them. Everything in their world is reversed. They love God, but hate the poor. They hate communism but are doing everything possible to drive us towards communism. They love money, but their God tells them to despise money. Up is down, evil is good, in the crazy con world. Even their new name, teabaggers, is ironic, and contradictory, considering how anti sexual they are (hate homosexuals and most all sex). I think the scientists should have a whack at them. More irony, the ones that can cure them, they don't believe in. Cons don't believe in science, they believe in God, then do the opposite He tells them to do. They are repelled by the truth. Like magnets opposite poles repel each other. They are flat wired differently.

Cons sure are quite lately. You all think they are on the war path? An insurrection? I sure hope not, after their reign of terror, we are broke and can't afford lots of new prisons. But on the other hand, the states are emptying the prisons, to save money, so we might have extra space after all. We'll just make those cons work for their keep. Put the shoe on the other foot so to speak.

Not in con land, but in America! It is pathetic how dirty the dems are. What a bunch of low life losers who dont even care what the MAJORITY of Americans really want done.

Americans dont want this health insurance bill, yet they push on!

Americans dont want more deficits, yet the dems push on.

Americans dont want higher taxes, yet the dems push on.

Americans dont want SPECIAL deals, yet the dems push on.

This bill has so many problems and you guys are happy it passed, rather than getting it done right!

Raygun-
I hope you got your check book out, so you can start writing checks for other peoples insurance! Where is my freedom to choose not to pay for this public option?

CJP-
Maybe you need to change you blog title so it would read "Watching dems destroy our country"

Why dont you answer your own question? The liberals are in control for now, why dont they just raise their prices? Everything the government touches goes broke!

RayGun said...

"Everything the government touches goes broke!"

JHC, why dont we let the insurance companies take care of the old people? Why arent the insurance companies reining in health care costs? Why does the government have to do their job? Are the insurance companies that incompetent?

CJP said...

Actually, Brandon, Americans Do want this health bill. That's why the Dems push on.

And, at long last, it looks like the Dems are succeeding.

"Getting it done right", to you, Brandon, means not getting it done at all.

Sorry, fella, looks like you've lost on this one.

Brandon said...

-CJP

How could you possibly believe that? Last I had heard 68% opposed this bill.

"Getting it done right", to you, Brandon, means not getting it done at all.
-CJP

Wrong again, I would like to see many of the thing that were included in this bill left alone. But there are way to many problems with this bill to simply let it slip thru.

-Special deals
-increased deficts
-Forcing people to buy health insurance
-violating the constitution

Brandon said...

CJP and Raygun

I love how I give you 4 point on why we dont want THIS health insurance bill and BOTH of you dismiss ALL of my points. Are you both really as dumb as you guys make yourselves out to be?

You dont actually believe:

-That special deals should be done?
-That this bill wont add to the deficit?
-That premiums will ever go down because of this bill?
-That government knows best?

BB, you anti bard. Why hasn't business (insurance companies) solved our health care dilemma?

Brandon said...

I just dont know, perhaps its due to regulations from our government. But their failure doesnt mean we should give up and let the government ruin our health industry. Second, they are not doing half as bad of a job as you liberals would like everyone to believe.

Raygun-
Where is the money going to come from to pay for the public option over the next four years? What is your monthly premium going to be under the public option?

RayGun said...

I just dont know,"

BB, I dont know either. But government ends up taking over the big problems that business cant handle.

Look at all other nations in the world.

Religion is holding the US behind. It's all related in a perverse way, whether you see it or not.

Brandon said...

Yes, your correct! Now the government has taken respobiblity over the health care system and also taken on any risk associated with that.

RISK IS SOMETHING YOU NEVER TAKE INTO ACCOUNT!

Brandon said...

Brandon said...

Just take a look at everything else they try to run!

RayGun said...

BB, that sounds like drama. The government hasn't done squat. We need a public health care option, we are far from it. Cons still own this one.

Why is this going to cost the tax payers billion every year, if they havent done anything?

RayGun said...

BB, why have the insurance companies failed so miserably to fix health care? Why are the insurance companies not insuring older people? Comon BB, lets use some common sense.

Why would you get insurance from a company who wants to charge you enough to pay a profit. Lets not forget that everyone else is funding medicare for the elderly!

Brandon said...

How much money do you think I would save thru out my life if I never had to pay for medicare? I am sure it would make up the difference in premiums between private insurance and medicare!

RayGun said...

"Lets not forget that everyone else is funding medicare for the elderly!"

But why isnt business handling that job for the government? Lets give business the chance. Comon BB, will business fail in providing it? Why does the government have to step in whenever business fails?

Im going to bed.

Brandon said...

"But why isnt business handling that job for the government? Lets give business the chance. Comon BB, will business fail in providing it? Why does the government have to step in whenever business fails?"
-Raygun

They dont! This is a stupid idea that liberals came up with. When companies fail, others will take their place. What do we do when government fails or goes broke? Did you know that their was a market for the elderly before medicare? Did you know that within a few years after medicare was passed premiums for the elderly went thru the roof?

I guess if you were a progressive you would already know that and this would cause you to be again Obamacare, but your just a dumb liberal who cant think for himself!

Brandon said...

good night!

RayGun said...

BB, stupid is trying the same exact things over and over and expecting different results. The cons bible is very short and the pages heavily worn with regards to solutions, economic an otherwise. And those pages of solutions just don't work. You want to just keep trying them anyway?

The insurance companies had their chance and failed miserably. Now it's time for something new.
