Wallis Slams Glenn Beck

Wallis says at least 20,000 people have already responded to his call to boycott Beck. He says Beck is confusing his personal philosophy with the Bible.

"He wants us to leave our churches, but we should leave him," Wallis says of Beck. "When your political philosophy is to consistently favor the rich over the poor, you don't want to hear about economic justice."

Wallis says he wants to go on Beck's show to challenge the contention that churches shouldn't preach economic and social justice.

Social and economic justice is at the heart of Jesus' message, Wallis says.

Cons are the real communists, by promoting great wealth disparity.

Hitler was a fascist. Cons are also fascists, for their great undying love for a large military and large police force. In other words, they like telling others what to do, and use armed forces to shove their beliefs on others.

Thank you, Ray Gun, for letting us all know about the good Mr. Wallis and his campaign to save Christianity from the likes of Glenn Beck and his minions.

Amen to the cons leaving him.

All cons care about is money, so maybe Beck losing advertisers and viewers by the droves will have an impact.

Another example in the cons crazy world of up being down, evil is good, etc.

What do you think crazy cons? Was Jesus a socialist/communist etc?

We know Glenn Beck doesn't think much of Jesus (God) anyway, and thinks a lot of Joseph Smith (a convicted con man). Do you know how screwed up you cons seem to us in the real world?

100% in agreement!!

Yet the cons want a small government. Sounds contradictory isn't it? Sort of schizophrenic?

Indeed, they have been forcing their views, their way of life on other countries as well, especially since WWII, not only in the USA.

The tea party has spread to Britain so I read.

And I personally apologize for our cons.

RayGun aka Reagen had us all skeered silly back in his day about the commies. I actually agree with RayGun back then. Soviet style communism was bad. But the silly cons still conflate that same fear to this day, in all they say and do.

The above-mentioned words are specifically meant for CONS.

The current and past injustices can be traced back to CONS who are accessories to the committed crimes.

The CONS DON'T WANT SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE. It's at THEIR CORE of being.

I just wanted to clear up something in my previous post in that CONS ARE ROTTEN TO THE CORE!

And what past crimes might those have been?

Oh you nut job Texass cons:

"The Board removed Thomas Jefferson from the Texas curriculum's world history standards on Enlightenment thinking, “replacing him with religious right icon John Calvin.”"

Cons suck

Nutty cons, this is one fore father I can get along with. Jefferson, exploring, Lewis and Clarke, deism, no wonder you cons are getting rid of him. JHC.

Oh crazy cons, please relieve us of your sexual hangups. Please get your God off our backs. Please quite telling us what to do. Thanks.

The above comment that you are quoting, Casey, is one of the truest statements ever made. What a shame you can't see it.

CJP, I concur. However, she's one of the many cons who can't see it. That's because these blind brainwashed ones are the cons' wannabees.

They adore kapitalism which almost destroyed kapitalism itself were it not for the government bailout.

Actually the word "communism" is not the right word for the cons, because communism doesn't allow private property. They are really a mix of fascism, kapitalism and terrorism.

"Senator Kaufman: Fraud Still at the Heart of Wall Street

Now, the Senator has gone one better, putting many private criticisms of the financial sector -- the kind you hear whispered with conviction on the Upper East Side and in Midtown -- firmly and articulately on the public record in a Senate floor speech to be delivered tomorrow (this is a direct link to speech). He pulls no punches:

"fraud and potential criminal conduct were at the heart of the financial crisis"

Wall Street is one of the institutions that the CONS continue to adore and protect.

Shame on them, selling out America, calling themselves "patriots".

Hey A2, maybe you Canadians should prohibit her from flying over your airspace?

Do you think cons are actively trying to cause the very things they seek to prevent? They must be really dumb, or are actively trying to radically change the very country they so often profess to love.

I'm not so sure she does, but then she's a (ding)bat ain't she?

Now that there is money to be made for her rabid speeches she'll stay down south a lot more...

"Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann Photo Op Priced At $10,000

Just how much are Republican donors willing to pay for a private photo opportunity with conservative firebrands Sarah Palin and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.)?

The folks at Minnesota-Bachmann Victory Committee are putting the price tag at a whopping $10,000 per couple, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by the Huffington Post

According to the invitation, attendees at the April 7 event in Minneapolis are asked to spend $500 per person for attendance at the General Reception and Dinner; $5,000 for a table of ten; and $10,000 per couple for a "Private Reception with Photo Opportunity. (Included in the latter is a table for ten as well).

The money donated will, per campaign finance rules, have to be spread among various committees. The first $2,400 would go to Bachmann's primary election fund. The next $2,400 would go to her general election refund. And up to $10,000 can go to the Republican Party of Minnesota.

That's not small change, especially for two pols who say they speak on behalf of real, working class America.

Excerpt:

"Rep. King Calls For Velvet Revolution Against The Government

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) urged a smaller-than-expected crowd of Tea Party protesters on Tuesday to launch a Velvet Revolution-style uprising against the federal government, saying the parallels are striking between America's current government and Eastern European communist rule.

Speaking to the Huffington Post shortly after his speech, King declared that a peaceful uprising, a la the successful overthrowing of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia on the streets of Prague in 1989 "would be fine with me."

"Fill this city up, fill this city, jam this place full so that they can't get in, they can't get out and they will have to capitulate to the will of the American people," he said.

"So this is just like Prague under communist rule?" the Huffington Post asked.

"Oh yeah, it is very, very close," King replied. "It is the nationalization of our liberty and the federal government taking our liberty over. So there are a lot of similarities there."

Here's another retching, ranting, lunatic Con. The USA seems to be full of this kind of cons. Does he need a priest to exorcise the "demons" within him? I'm sure of the latter.

Texas Republican Gohmert: Demons Have Invaded The Capital

Speaking shortly after he riled up a crowd at Tuesday's Tea Party protest, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.) declared that "demons" - yes, demons - have invaded the capital (and likely the souls of Democrats), forcing lawmakers to mislead the public about the content of the health care bill.

"Well it would take a demon to be this dishonest about a bill," the Texas Republican told the Huffington Post. "If they would just read the bill, they would see what they are saying is dishonest."

Asked to expand a bit more on what he meant, Gohmert stepped back a bit from a literal interpretation, though still floating the possibility that Democrats were possessed. "Well, somebody is making people be dishonest and it is a play on words, too," he said.

Excerpt:

"Jim Bunning's Back: Blocking Nominees Over CANADIAN Smoking Law

Jim Bunning, far from being cowed by the national exposure of his recent effort to hold up unemployment benefits for millions of laid-off workers, is back at it in the Senate.

The Kentucky Republican battled Democrats on the Senate floor Tuesday to block two nominations to relatively backbench positions -- because he is opposed to a tobacco-related law passed by the Canadian Parliament (THAT'S RIGHT, THE CANADIAN PARLIAMENT). The use of such delaying tactics is not unprecedented in Senate history, but holding up such minor business stretches the purpose of the Senate's open debate rules to the breaking point.

"This is a perversion of the filibuster and a perversion of the role of the Senate."
