THE OBAMAS had a date night last night at Komi, Washingtonian magazine's #1 restaurant for the past two years. Pool Report from Joyce Jones of Black Enterprise:
'People gathered on a few corners near WH on foot and on Segways ... Arrived at restaurant at about 7:08. ... The first couple emerged from Komi at 9:13 and were greeted by the crowds that had waited for two hours to see them. But by then, it was dark and black vans blocked most of the view. Still, they cheered, screamed and clapped. ... It appears that the diners in Komi gave them a standing ovation as they left. Mrs. Obama was carrying a wrapped bouquet and both were wearing huge smiles.'

Actually, Obama's biggest mistake has been to include the Cons in his reform efforts. Obama should have saved the country for the benefit of the rest of us, and allowed the Cons to follow their own leaders down into the flames. If the Tea Baggers start winning elections in November, they will stop Obama's reform efforts and drag this whole country down to destruction. They came close to destroying America in 2008, and now they want to come back and finish the job.
What has Obama done that history will remember? Well, he prevented the Great Depression of 2009, to name but one achievement. Passing Health Care reform is another accomplishment. Causing the stock market to double in value is another plus. April was the largest job creation month since 2006. Going after Al Quaida and the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan is another departure from the Bush administration. Replacing No Child Left Behind with real educational reforms is another plus. Increasing regulation of financial companies and oil companies is yet another achievement. And, he had to do it all over the screaming, writhing dead bodies of the Disloyal Opposition.

We were never headed into the great depression of 2009 and you cant prove it. So that means we can dismiss your first statement.
Second, passing health insurance reform is not an accomplishment. It will only cost us billions every year and run this country farther into debt with another program that dems didnt figure out how to fund.
Again, you cant say Obama caused the stock market to double. Where in the hell did you think the stock market was headed when it reached 6000 points? UP? The stock market goes up and down and you dems act supprised everytime it goes down!

Now we both can agree that Obama has accomplished nothing positive for our country. Why do liberals what to ruin our country? Higher taxes and bigger deficits!
Why is it so hard for Obama to balance his budget? Why doesnt he keep his tax hikes and stay with Bushes budget. That would give him a several billion dollar surplus every year!

What??? That is just moronic. You act like we are in the clear. Far from it! Our unemployment is back up to 9.9% In what way did he solve anything having to do with the economy? The stimulus was a joke. Debt is so out of control that we risk being another Greece.
The effects of healthcare reform? Still in debate and who knows what that will cost. Seems that the real numbers were hidden until AFTER the Bill passed.
The truth is, this administration will go down as one of the most corrupt in history. But you guys just keep dreaming and believing the illusion.
Oh, he WILL keep believing the delusion -- he will. After all, he is simply an ideologue, nothing more. All of his ideological brothers and sisters can do no wrong, and all of his villains can do no right. Ever.
