House Dem reveals abortion on the House floor

Strong stuff from Dem Rep. Jackie Speier of California, who delivered an emotional speech on the House floor last night, revealing she had an abortion as she dressed down a Republican colleague for trivializing the decisionmaking that goes into deciding whether to undergo the procedure:
The debate was over GOP Rep. Mike Pence's drive to defund Planned Parenthood. Speier's outburst was triggered by GOP Rep. Chris Smith, who had read aloud graphic descriptions of abortion from a book only moments before. Speier responded:
"I really planned to speak about something else. But the gentleman from New Jersey just put my stomach in knots. Because I'm one of those women he spoke about just now. I had a procedure at 17 weeks pregnant with a child who moved from the vagina into the cervix. And that procedure that you just described is a procedure that I endured.
"I lost the baby. And for you to stand on this floor and suggest that somehow this is a procedure that is either welcomed or done cavalierly or done without any thought, is preposterous."

interesting....a pregnancy that "went from the vagina into the cervix" interesting problem, considering that isn't possible. if your pregnancy is "in the vagina"...well that just can't happen, and it doesn't make any sense. This didn't happen to that woman. she was lying. And she obvioulsy knows little about reproduction and her own body. the lie wasn't even well crafted enough to be believable! Think about it. Do I need to tell you what these body parts are and what they do???
this is why I cant take you people seriously. you say anything, and it doesn't matter if it makes sense or not! (I just called a friend of mine and read this statement toher and she is STILL laughing!!!)
Ha! Ha ! Ha! I am still laughing!!! I was just thinking...If she had a pregnancy in her vagina, and it went to her cervix, she should have just waited a bit and it would have made it to her uterus! It was obvioulsy a pregnancy traveling in reverse! Ha! ha! ha! that's some funny stuff!!!
what's the matter? Aren't you guys going to run to the defense of this poor woman's *sniff. sniff* tragic and tramatic event? Or are you all ashamed and embarrassed that this woman represents you?
