Republican "Young Guns" Are So Off the Walls and Insane That They Are Changing Republicans Into Democrats and Turning Red Districts Blue

From Emily's List -- May 25, 2011:

What an incredible win! EMILY's List candidate Kathy Hochul achieved a spectacular victory last night in the special election in New York's 26th district. Despite conventional wisdom that the district was too Republican and unwinnable, we were there with her from the beginning until the last vote was counted and that once-Republican House seat was hers.

Between your support and Kathy's tireless campaigning, we now have a pro-choice Democratic woman in a House seat that once belonged to a GOP Young Gun. And, believe me, Republicans are petrified about what this means: that voters are saying NO to the GOP plan to gut Medicare, and NO to the Republican bait-and-switch agenda that ignores creating jobs and instead Wages War on Women.

When the folks find out the Repugs hidden agenda, most won't vote for them, especially if it affects them.

Repugs certainly must have their brains examined because they function differently compared with the sane ones. Their eyes give them away. There's no hiding from the ones who can see through them.

Another GOP loon:

"God Gives Bachmann The All-Clear

Apparently, Michele Bachmann is now confirming that she has received the long-awaited go-ahead from the Lord on her presidential run. Per Eric Kleefeld, she revealed that she had received His blessing in an interview with Iowa Public Television:

Henderson: You recently referenced your Christian faith. Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, when he announced he would not run, said that he just didn't feel called to do that. Have you had that sort of calling to run for president?

Bachmann: Well, every decision that I make I pray about as does my husband and I can tell you, yes, I've had that calling and that tugging on my heart that this is the right thing to do and because it's such a momentous decision, not only for myself, my husband and our 28 children, it is a momentous decision."

The craziness of the older GOP loons is spilling over into young ones. TRepugs carry it in their (faulty) genes.

Written by a poster at HuffPo:

"It is one thing to believe in God and to have your beliefs govern your personal life and behavior. But what we observe on the right is a disturbing trend. They have interwoven their religion into their politics and are justifying their extreme views as being God-ordained. The problem with this brand of politics , is that it sets up a dynamic in which any opposition is evil, needs to be destroyed or at the very least should not be negotiated with, and not be treated with respect or civility. Since Biblical teachings tell us not to question God, by extension their approach to politics is that we ARE NOT to question their ideologies. AND NOW WE SEE THE RESULT OF THIS THEOCRATIC IDEOLOGY: 1) Liberals are vilified, dehumanized and often describe as godless and anti-Christ. Compromise is viewed as facilitating evil, as a weakness and thus must be avoided. 2) The press is vilified. The RW candidates avoid serious interviews with the MSM and spend their times fielding soft-ball, ideology-friendly questions from the Faux crowd. 3) AND finally, RW followers are unwilling to challenge their political leadership, even when the lunacy or inconsistencies in RW policies are evident. To have a significant portion of the electorate unwilling to objectively examine all sides of a political issue is a problem. To have politicians who believe that they are God-ordained and thus do not answer to the press or to "Man" is a problem. We need to guard against the Michel Bachmans et al. because their beliefs ARE NOT conducive to the maintenance of democratic form of government."
